MTTC #93 Vivid greetings cards & PTW sketch 41

Been busy catching up on housework today but sat down tonight and made a card for 2 challenges.

My Time To Craft #93 Vivid Greetings Cards, the papers are from a digi collection by A Work In Progress called Bright Eyes and they are more vivid irl! The image is from the Daisy & Dandelion range, ribbon is American Crafts, the star tag I have had for ages and I think is papermania.

Well thats all for tonight, got ironing waiting for me tomorrow but I also intend on fitting in some premium crafting time too! TFL. X

Dotties World - Easel Card & Sketch and Stash #36

Well I'm home alone tonight and enjoying every minute of the peace and quiet with no interruptions so I settled down to some crafting hoping I'd get several cards made and catch up on some challenges but I have only managed to make one card but it is for 2 challenges! What started out as a fairly simple straight forward card took me ages to decide on the papers and then I decided to stick all the little punched out flowers on to the card too and boy did that take me a while! Anyway here is the finished card and its my first easel card too! TFL

Dotties World - Easel Card with a charmed download of course! I have use the thistle pixie which is pre-coloured so I added some sakura stardust for a touch of bling to her dress and headdress too. Over at Dotties World there is also a link to a great easel card tutorial although I think most people now know how to make them I'm a bit behind!

Sketch and Stash # 36 - used the sketch for the top part of the card and the stash is all neglected, the papers are from the Artylicious Fantasy Floral cd which I have had for a couple of years now and hardly ever use (keep forgetting I've got it!) cs is some I have had for ages and flowers and brad are all from my stash.

Oh well hopefully back tomorrow with more, especially as I'm now on holiday for a week - yipeeee! lol

Also just found out it fits nicely with another challenge too,

Crafty Sentiments which is to punch it! Lots of little punched flowers there and also the border punch too.

I managed 5 challenges in one card!

Dont manage that very often but I seem to have so little crafting time at the moment that I made the most of this card! lol

Cute Card Thursday #103 a sketch - took me a while and lots of different combinations of papers but got there in the end!

Stamp Something - 2 of Something - 2 buttons and 2 pieces of wire.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #84 - no patterend paper, once I decide that I couldnt get my pp to work this came together quite quickly. cs is coredinations and a little mirriboard, have used the daisy cuttlebug embossing folder and my tonic studio punches to add detail.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #45 Buttons and Butterflies, got them both.

Hopefully get more crafting time next week as its half term and I've got the week off! really looking forward to that as work as been pretty hectic recently. TFL

Well another card tonight thats not bad going for me! This one is for 3 challenges and the base of the card is all done digitally its just the image which I have printed seperate and coloured with copics and stardust pens.

Sketch and Stash #35 the new stash is the digi kit called Princess of Pop and is by Scraps By Stacey. I even managed to give the sentiment a bit of texture and looks like its printed on fabric (can you tell I'm having fun playing! lol)

Spoon Full Of Sugar #104 - Cute & Girly, think this meets the requirements. The image is a Pollycraft Designs Friday Freebie from a while back.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #44 - Summer Blooms, well I hope the flowers from the kit meet the challenge with their hot pink colouring.

TFL I had great fun (and some frustration!) putting this together, and now I am off to bed! night night x

Dotties World - A Sketch

The challenge over at Dotties World this week was a sketch and the DT made some absolutely gorgeous samples to inspire us. I decided I would use this sketch to make a digi scrapbook page and as I have recently taken delivery of Photoshop CS4 which is a much more fuller program than photoshop elements but it is also a lot more complicated as all the little things like drop shadows are not where I was expecting them! but I did finally manage to complete the layout and also made an edge round the circle that I hope looks a bit like its been inked and I gave some texture to the red circle using overlay and blending bits that I didnt know about. (I'm self teaching can you tell! lol) Anyway the images are all from Charmed Cards & Crafts (of course!) and the papers and elements are from a kit called Ivy League by by Stacey Towers aka Scraps by Stacey. TFL

Copic Colour Challenge #64 & Sketch Saturday #103

Combined 2 great challenges for this card and I'm really pleased with how it turned out as last night couldnt quite get it but this morning it worked so thats a relief!

Copic Colour Challenge #64 Goo, BG23 & BV02 had all of them! and added a few of my others too!

Sketch Saturday #103 papers are a mixture from my scrap drawers, cs is coredinations, big flowers are Prima e-line and the little ones I got at a craft stall and I coloured them with BV02 to match the image which is 'a gift for mum' part of the Sugar and Spice collection from Charmed Cards & Crafts.

Spoon Full Of Sugar #103 - a recipe

The challenge this week over at a Spoon Full Of Sugar is a receipe which consists of 3 DPs and 3 buttons so I went for a vintage type feel for this card with lots of subtle inking, the papers are Papermania signature range Regency, the image is Dressy Odette digi from The Greeting Farm and I paperpieced her dress, 2 different nesties used and an xcut punch, the photo corners were cut using my xyron personal cutting machine and the buttons I dug out from the depths! The card is also based around last weeks sketch over at Club Anya and Friends but didnt get that done in time but really liked the sketch. TFL

My Time To Craft - she is Lolli Anya and she is just 'too cute' coloured with copics and sakura stardust

Papertake Weekly - Shiny & Sparkly & Special - papers are DCWV from the glitter Stack and I've used sakura stardust and then a glue pad and glittered the sentiment stamp which is a Daisy and Dandelion one.

Crafty Sentiments gave us a sketch this week so that is what I based my card around

Dotties World - Flowers & Friday Sketchers #101

2 challenges completed with this card. Dotties World is asking for flowers and a Charmed download so I have used a pre coloured Madison on Safari from the Round the World collection, papers are Basic Grey Sugared, flowers from my stash, a bit of card candy! and the leaves were cut with a punch and then I used 2 different green ink pads and stamped over them to give them some definition. The card is then based around the sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers who are celebrating their 2nd anniversary with a fabby blog hop so go check that out too. TFL

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge # 82 Recipe & Pollycraft Monday Challenge #43 Sketchrday

This week I really liked the sketch over at Pollycraft Monday Challenge and I used a past Pollycraft Friday Freebie image of Bridget she is coloured with copics and a touch of sakura stardust and I paperpieced her dress and hat band with the same paper as the decorative strips that were punched with a Tonic Studio punch. I dont often do bears as I'm never sure that my colouring works but I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out. The papers, (2 of them) are My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow, and then I added some pink organza ribbon, flowers and brads so there are the ingredients to the recipe over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. This is a background paper that I struggle with but do like it on this card. TFL back later I hope!

PTW - sketch 40 & Spoon MTTC #90 Stars & Swirls

Another 2 challenges completed. My Time To Craft wanted to see Swirls & Stars, my swirl is cut with a sizzix extended cut and the stars are some little gems from my stash and my card is based on the sketch over at PaperTake Weekly. Image was sent to me in some blog candy and she is coloured with copics and papers are Papermania blueberry Hill. TFL

Sketch & Stash # 34 & Spoon Full of Sugar # 102 Furry Friends

I have made this card to fit with the challenges at Sketch and Stash where most of the stash is new, papers are Me & My Big Ideas, flowers are prima e line (new) and card candy (new), image is a Cuddly Buddly but dont know which as it was an image that was sent to me, coloured with copics and sakura stardust, sentiment is a cuttlebug die. the other challenge is Spoon Full Of Sugar which is Furry Friends and I think this image fits the bill there. Really enjoyed this one and a great sketch. TFL

Copic Colour Challenge # 63 & Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Here Comes the Sun

Just 2 challenges for this card! Copic Colour Challenge and I have used BG01, 05 B12 R11 & R20 and the Pollycraft Monday Challenge is here comes the sun, well what better way to enjoy the sun than lying in a hammock down by the river with a nice cool tipple in your hand? The image is made from a background scene from the Pixies collection 1 which is pre coloured and I have then added lots of sakura stardust for added sparkle and Dottie in the the hammock (coloured with copics!) from Dottie at Home collection both available from Charmed Cards & Crafts. This was inspired by the lovely scenes that Karen is giving away at the moment to anyone who has purchased the Pixie collections either 1 or 2, pop over to Dotties World to check them out. TFL

Well I am so behind on my challenges this week that in the end this card has managed to fit in with 5 YES 5 different challenges! Dotties World asked for stitching (and a charmed download of course) I used Mikey at the beach, Cute Card Thursday was Boyz to Men, Crafty Sentiments was to include buttons, Stamp Something was Birthday something and the sketch I followed is this weeks sketch from Sketch Saturday. Papers are from a digi kit by Sweet Blossom Designs called Numb3rs and the buttons are from my stash. TFL I'm off to try and leave some comments on some of your blogs.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge & Sketch Saturday

but only just! I have followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday and used the theme of friends from Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge for this card which is a bit different for me and as such I'm not sure I like it or not. Anyway the papers (which I love) are MME Wild Asparagus, the sentiment in the middle is a rub on I have had since I began and the friends forever sentiment is a cuttlebug die which was teamed with an embossing folder that I just had to have! first time I've used this sentiment there are 5 all together on the die. Hope you like it I'm off to bed! TFL

Friday Sketchers # 100

As soon as I saw the sketch over at Friday Sketchers this week I knew which image I wanted to use so decided to combine it with the challenge over at Copic Colour Challenge but due to a hectic work schedule this week never got it finished in time so only for 1 challenge! Paper is Me & My Big Ideas, cs is coredinations and the image is one that Sammi sent me so unfortunately I dont know whose image but she is coloured with copics and is for my friend over the road (her birthday is next month!) she is a gardener and she is tall and slim so this fitted perfectly, down to the purple crocs! I apologize for not popping round to visit you all recently but hope to rectify that over the next couple of days when I've caught up on some sleep and a little bit of housework!

Unfortunate today work very rudely interrupted my crafting time so I have had to finish this project tonight before heading off to bed! lol This is for the following challenges Spoon Full of Sugar #101 - 3D, PaperTake Weekly - Do Something Different and My Time To Craft - Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby So I decided to make a little box from a template that came with Papercraft Inspirations (but I didnt use the shaped closure) the patterned paper is I believe Raspberry Road Designs digi - Annies Room, the box is tied with some red lace and the image is an adorable TGF and I have coloured her in copic (using plenty of red!) I think with a bit more practice I could make the box better than I have today but it was a first for me and certainly therefore something different. Well thats all folks I'm off to bed.
