MTTC #94 Wild Thing & Stamp Something ~ something Digi

Ok been working on this for the past 2 evenings and its taken me a while but I am pleased with the final outcome. Its for 2 challenges.

My Time To Craft #94 Wild Thing ~ so what better wild thing but our very own bearded dragon, Wally being very wild attacking and eating his cress, it really is quite comical to watch him lunge at it and play tug of war with it, sometimes he even drags it half way across the vivarium!

Stamp Something ~ Digital something, can be papers, image, sentiment anything that is digi, now I do love doing digi bits and those of you who are regular visitors will know I use a lot of digi papers and I adore Charmed Cards & Crafts digi downloads and of course my TGF digi images too, but there are so many available out there its hard to choose and then I also really enjoy making digi scrapbook pages which what I have done for this challenge, the papers and elements and alpha are all from a kit called Cinnamon Spice except the 3 frame which is from a kit called Circle of Life and they are both by one of my favourite designers Stacey Towers aka Stacey's Scraps. And for anyone interested in digi kits 4 fantastic designers inc Stacey trade together at a place called Scrap That Idea and they have new stuff every week, so go check 'em out.

I have used Photoshop CS4 which I am still finding my way round so it gave me lots of practice and I really enjoyed putting this one together so Ihope you all enjoy looking at it. TFL xx

3 challenges in 1 project

Unfortunate today work very rudely interrupted my crafting time so I have had to finish this project tonight before heading off to bed! lol This is for the following challenges Spoon Full of Sugar #101 - 3D, PaperTake Weekly - Do Something Different and My Time To Craft - Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby So I decided to make a little box from a template that came with Papercraft Inspirations (but I didnt use the shaped closure) the patterned paper is I believe Raspberry Road Designs digi - Annies Room, the box is tied with some red lace and the image is an adorable TGF and I have coloured her in copic (using plenty of red!) I think with a bit more practice I could make the box better than I have today but it was a first for me and certainly therefore something different. Well thats all folks I'm off to bed. Night night and TFL xx

I have managed to make a card for 2 challenges but I am not entirely happy with it seem to be struggling with my mojo! Anyway the challenges are My Time To Craft - in the frame, the frame is cut with a sizzix die from mountboard and coloured with copics to which I have then added background paper from papermania and a combination of 3 flowerws from my stash. The challenge at Spoon Full of Sugar was to use distress inks (on my flowers), glitter (on my flowers) and pearls (on my frame). I havent added a sentiment yet as not sure what I will use it for but thought when I do I will add the sentiment inside the frame

4 challenges in 1 card

Well as the week ahead of me looks to being pretty busy I thought I'd combine some challenges so I have used the sketch from Sketch and Stash, the colour combo of Green +1 (yellow) from My Time To Craft, gingham paper for the Papertake Weekly challenge and spring time theme from Spoon Full of Sugar. The image is part of a set of 4 called Art Flowers by rubbadubbadoo and they have a magnetic backing. I bought them a long time ago but havent actually used them for quite a while so it was nice to give them an airing! the ribbon, flower and brad are all from my stash and the gingham papers were some I downloaded from somewhere a long time ago and that I have never used! The cs is also embossed with a check pattern. I havent put a sentiment on yet but I'm not totally sure what I will use it for so when I do decide I will add a sentiment. TFL

MTTC - Blue & Brown and Sketch Saturday # 85

I have again managed to combine 2 challenges this time they are My Time To Craft - Blue & Brown and Sketch Saturday #85. I really like blue and brown as a colour combo and I have managed to use some more of my scraps and oddments with this card. The paper is from a digi kit by Raspberry Road but I cant remember the name of it at the moment but I recall printing of several sheets from the kit and not knowing which ones I was going to use at the time andthis piece obviously didnt make it so got put in the draw for another time (I do that a lot! lol) The cs is old pieces that have been sat around too. Ribbon, gems button and bloom are all from my stash, I coloured the bloom with copic to match the card and added sakura stardust to the wooden button so that it matched the flower in th e image which is from the Daisy & Dandelion range coloured with copics and sakuras, sentiment is also from the same range. SCSC #62 - Snow & MTTC #70 - Yuletide Wishes

Ok back after a few days absence due to D&V bug which left me feeling very yuckky indeed, also meant I missed some challenges! I did manage to get some colouring done though so hopefully should get a few more cards made over the next couple of days so I'm starting with the challenges over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which is snow and all these cards have snow on them somewhere! and the challenge over at My Time To Craft is Yuletide Wishes which again they all have. I have used Miss Anya images all coloured with copics and some sakura stardust pens and glitter glue. Sentiments are a mix of sizzix dies and digi stamp from charmed cards & Crafts. Have to say the brrr card is not included in the challenges as I made that last week but was trying out something new I discovered on my camera that allows me to take upto 4 shots and put them together as if for an 'e-auction' so I thought I'd give it a try, must say I am impressed, I've only had the camera a year and I'm still finding new things out about it!lol Oh well time to make more cards. Thanks for stopping by and having a look. x

MTTC #81 Quick & Cute

Couldnt resist having a go at making a quick & cute card for the challenge over at MTTC this week, mine always take me ages and I have managed to complete the card in just under the hour (that does include colouring and choosing my papers then finding them as they are digital ones!) But that is quick for me! lol Anyway the papers are 'Lilys Garden' by A Work In Progress aka Vicki (theres a link to her blog in my sidebar), the image is Miss Anya from the MIss Anya Dressy collection coloured with copics and a touch of sakura bling, the ribbon is American Crafts and was part of my prize from Dotties World when we celebrated Dotties first birthday and I added a little bow to Miss Anyas hat from my stash. Looking at it now I cant see why it took me so long! lol TFL
