Crafty Sentiments #24 Birthday Theme & Spoon Full Of Sugar #110 Animal Crackers

Well I made this card this morning for 2 challenges and it was a bit of challenge for me too as I dont very often do shaped cards but I had some freebies this month with PaperCraft Inspirations so thought I'd try and put them to good use!

Crafty Sentiments #24 Birthday Themed ~ well its certainly birthday themed and although you dont have to at the moment I have used a Crafty Sentiments image which was a freebie digi called Sammy Snail (this is the 3rd time I've used this image and each time I have differed its use slightly which just goes to show how versatile digi images can be) the shell is cut from some coredinations cs using my nesties then a peeloff sentiment added, other papers are from my scraps drawer.

Spoon Full Of Sugar #110 Animal Crackers ~ my animal is the cute Sammy Snail from Crafty Sentiments.

TFL hopefully be back later after we've been to town.

Here is the card I was working on last night but just got too tired to finish it so have now finished it, I'm lovin' my new stamps!

Sketch and Stash #38 ~ great sketch I used a digi paper which I think is a Rasberry Road Design but it was in my scraps drawer so not sure, coredinations cs, some ribbon from the cheapy shop, the little tags are cut using my sizzix doodle tag alpha, which I seem to forget I have, the little flowers are punched from a scrap of paper from the drawer and the gems are from my stash, my new item is the delightful TGF Nahla from the Roll Call collection who is coloured with copics and a little sakura stardust.

Spoon Full Of Sugar #109 ~ Good Luck/Best wishes I used a little best wishes peeloff which fitted nicely on the tag.

Well thats all my crafting for tonight as Ria has gone to a camp out so I am going to the beach with Adrian while he does some fishing and I'm going to take the camera and hopefully get some good shots of the sun going down and even more hopefully some fish for lunch tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend. xx

3 challenges in 1card

Well another card tonight thats not bad going for me! This one is for 3 challenges and the base of the card is all done digitally its just the image which I have printed seperate and coloured with copics and stardust pens.

Sketch and Stash #35 the new stash is the digi kit called Princess of Pop and is by Scraps By Stacey. I even managed to give the sentiment a bit of texture and looks like its printed on fabric (can you tell I'm having fun playing! lol)

Spoon Full Of Sugar #104 - Cute & Girly, think this meets the requirements. The image is a Pollycraft Designs Friday Freebie from a while back.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #44 - Summer Blooms, well I hope the flowers from the kit meet the challenge with their hot pink colouring.

TFL I had great fun (and some frustration!) putting this together, and now I am off to bed! night night x

Spoon Full Of Sugar #103 - a recipe

The challenge this week over at a Spoon Full Of Sugar is a receipe which consists of 3 DPs and 3 buttons so I went for a vintage type feel for this card with lots of subtle inking, the papers are Papermania signature range Regency, the image is Dressy Odette digi from The Greeting Farm and I paperpieced her dress, 2 different nesties used and an xcut punch, the photo corners were cut using my xyron personal cutting machine and the buttons I dug out from the depths! The card is also based around last weeks sketch over at Club Anya and Friends but didnt get that done in time but really liked the sketch. TFL

3 challenges in 1 project

Unfortunate today work very rudely interrupted my crafting time so I have had to finish this project tonight before heading off to bed! lol This is for the following challenges Spoon Full of Sugar #101 - 3D, PaperTake Weekly - Do Something Different and My Time To Craft - Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby So I decided to make a little box from a template that came with Papercraft Inspirations (but I didnt use the shaped closure) the patterned paper is I believe Raspberry Road Designs digi - Annies Room, the box is tied with some red lace and the image is an adorable TGF and I have coloured her in copic (using plenty of red!) I think with a bit more practice I could make the box better than I have today but it was a first for me and certainly therefore something different. Well thats all folks I'm off to bed. Night night and TFL xx

PTW Sketch #39 ; Anya Ink #2 pink & sparkly & SFOS #100 Happy Birthday

This card is for the Papertake Weekly challenge which is a sketch, Spoon Full Of Sugar which is Happy Birthday and Anya Ink which is Pink & Sparkly. This took me a while because I knew what image I wanted (coloured with copics & sakura stardust) and I knew I wanted to use the pink sparkly patterned paper (DCWV glitter stack) but then I spent ages trying to find other suitable papers and elements but I got there in the end. The gingham paper is from the internet the cs is coredinations which I have then embossed with a paisly pattern, the ribbon and flowers are from my stash and the leaves have been cut from some green corrugated paper that I have had for years I also went round the edge of the sentiment with glitz it glitter glue for even more sparkle. Spoon Full Of Sugar #96 Bookmark This

The challenge over at Spoon Full of Sugar this week is to make a bookmark. So this morning I thought I would make a bookmark to go with the card I made last night here to go with the card as a gift. Again all done digitally using the Summer Lovin' kit by Stacey's Scraps and the gorgeous Holly in the garden image from Charmed Cards and Crafts. I added some text to the green cs using another freebie brush from Cottage Arts and then I used a quote I found online which I felt went well with the image. After printing it I laminated it for durability. I really enjoyed making this so thanks for the challenge.

4 challenges in 1 card

Well as the week ahead of me looks to being pretty busy I thought I'd combine some challenges so I have used the sketch from Sketch and Stash, the colour combo of Green +1 (yellow) from My Time To Craft, gingham paper for the Papertake Weekly challenge and spring time theme from Spoon Full of Sugar. The image is part of a set of 4 called Art Flowers by rubbadubbadoo and they have a magnetic backing. I bought them a long time ago but havent actually used them for quite a while so it was nice to give them an airing! the ribbon, flower and brad are all from my stash and the gingham papers were some I downloaded from somewhere a long time ago and that I have never used! The cs is also embossed with a check pattern. I havent put a sentiment on yet but I'm not totally sure what I will use it for so when I do decide I will add a sentiment. TFL

Anya Ink - No Patterned Paper & Spoon Full Of Sugar - Freestyle

Well this weeks challenge over at Anya Ink was a good one and really made me stop and think! No patterned paper (unless we made it ourselves) It took me a while to think of something and in the end I went for texture instead. The Image is the delightful Dressy Ebony coloured with copics (have been watching some of the masses of tutorials and tried to have a go at blending more with the hair and skin, hasnt worked as well as I would have liked but the practice will do me good!lol) CS is all coredinations and have used several different embossing folders, the little orange flower and charms I have had in my stash for ages bought a set of 6 for £1. I also am using this card to meet the challenge over at Spoon Full of Sugar as the challenge there is Freestyle. Now this card looks nice and quick and simple but actually it took me ages deciding on the placement of the rectangles I moved them around on my desk for ages before finally deciding on this arrangement!lol. TFL

I'm also very excited as I ordered a Bind-It-All tonight! Wanted one for a while and Adrian tried to get one at a local shop for christmas but couldnt get there till Christmas Eve at 2pm and they had shut at 1! and today he finished work early to get there again only to find that they have taken the 3 they have to an exhibition this weekend! He was not a happy bunny to say the least as he was trying so hard to surprise me for my birthday tomorrow so he said go ahead and order it on line at least you'll know your getting it! So I have done and Ria has paid for some wires to go with it for me so now I just have to wait patiently (Or not!!!!lol)

Spoon Full of Sugar challenge #81 Monochromatic

Well for this weeks challenge over at Spoon Full Of Sugar of Monochromatic I went out of my comfort zone, While I was pushing bits of coloured cs round trying to choose the right ones the smaller images got in the way but I kinda liked what they did so that was how this card was born. The images are from the Joanna Sheen Victorian Christmas cd and the cs is coredinations and a scrap of gold card from my box of odds. TFL
