PaperTake Weekly - Sketch #44

This card is for the sketch challenge this week over at Papertake Weekly, my papers are digi by Raspberry Road Designs and are the freebie add on to the Raspberry Tea kit, I added buttons from my stash and a bit of scrap card. The image is TGF Hope & Grace Classy coloured with copics and stardust but you cant really see the bling of the stardust. The little button embossed border is a cuttlebug border folder. The sentiment is a freebie stamp and when I stamped it I didnt get my colour even so I rescued it by going over it with a stardust pen (wish I'd thought of doing that before! lol) TFL I'll be back tomorrow with some exciting news! Bye for now. xx

PaperTake Weekly - In Stitches & Crafty Sentiments #25

When I was checking out Crafty Sentiments this morning for the new challenge they have a new free digi image available and it is just so cute that I had to make a card using Flopsy who you can grab here.

Papertake Weekly ~ In Stitches ~ my paper is where my stitches can be found, printed I'm afraid, was going to get the machine out til I realised I had this paper! Papers are Doodlebug Design Inc Sunny Doodles, Patch of Posies and Bloomin Stripes and they came free with ScrapBook Magazine a couple of years ago now I think!

Crafty Sentiments #25 A Sketch ~ Used the Flopsy image and couldnt decide what colour he should be so opted for a white bunny enjoying raspberry and chocolate icecream, the sentiment is from TGF Roll Call collection and the flower is from my stash.

3 challenges in 1 card

Well I was very good today and didnt start crafting till tonight even though I really wanted to! Thought I'd better do some hw seeing as I'm working all weekend, but I have now sat and crafted and used some of my new rubba! I have used TGF Wild Sprout Maria and inside my card which I didnt take a pic of is the sentiment 'time to follow your dreams' I used this as this is a card for a work colleague who is leaving on Sunday and going back to Slovenia to be with her boyfriend. Anyway this card is for the following 3 challenges:-

Papertake Weekly ~ sketch #43 the papers I used are K&Co McKenna and Maria is coloured with copics and I added some glamour dust to her dress collar and some dew drops to the flowers in her hair.

Cute Card Thursday #118 ~ reuse, renew, recycle and for this challenge I have included the buttons which came of a garment ages ago

Stamp Something ~ Vintage with flowers so I sanded and inked the edges of the paper and then sponged some ink around the image to remove the glare of white paper and the flowers are from my party bag candy.

Well TFL I'm off to see if I can fit another card in before I go to bed. x

(took me all night yesterday! I'm sure it will get quicker with practice!lol The picture I took yesterday over on the Isle of Sheppy and although it was a sunny day it was very windy and VERY cold with the wind coming in off the sea but it was worth it I'm quite happy with the photos I took and hope to do some more lo's with them in the future. TFL Been craft shopping again today and got a few more new bits and tomorrow we are back over to Sheppy for some dog walking and a picnic so hopefully more photo opportunities.

PaperTake Weekly - Sketch #35

Why is it that when I plan to have a day of crafting other things always get in the way and all I have managed is 1 card so far! The card is for the sketch over at Papertake Weekly and I have used an image sent to me by Sammi and coloured with copics to which I added some skaura clear stardust to her wings and some diamond glaze to her boots, I used flash for the photo to try and show this. The papers are a digi kit called Annies Room from Raspberry Road Designs it was a freebie from a few years ago now! I used the excut border system and tonic studio punches for the borders on the green paper, been trying to do this for ages but could never quite get the spacing right but found a video clip that explained it so theres no stopping me now! lol
I picked up the little heart gems in the pund shop recently they are in 4 sizes and 3 colours. you end up with about 120 gems so not bad for £1. TFL I'm off to see if I can complete another challenge or maybe 2 if I'm really lucky!

4 challenges in 1 card

Well as the week ahead of me looks to being pretty busy I thought I'd combine some challenges so I have used the sketch from Sketch and Stash, the colour combo of Green +1 (yellow) from My Time To Craft, gingham paper for the Papertake Weekly challenge and spring time theme from Spoon Full of Sugar. The image is part of a set of 4 called Art Flowers by rubbadubbadoo and they have a magnetic backing. I bought them a long time ago but havent actually used them for quite a while so it was nice to give them an airing! the ribbon, flower and brad are all from my stash and the gingham papers were some I downloaded from somewhere a long time ago and that I have never used! The cs is also embossed with a check pattern. I havent put a sentiment on yet but I'm not totally sure what I will use it for so when I do decide I will add a sentiment. TFL

Stamp Something - use something new - Copic G00, leaf punch, sentiment tag

Copic Colour Challenge - G00, RV21 & B32 - I managed G00 then used pales pinks and violets aswell, all copics

Papertake Weekly - New Beginings - New baby

Cute Card Thursday # 94 All New - see the above for the 'new' bits.

Well that has certainly helped me catch up with the challenges this week but still got a few to go but they will have to wait till tomorrow as I'm heading off to bed now. TFL

PaperTake Weekly - Sketch #31

The sketch this week over at PaperTake Weekly I have used to do a scrapbook page as I have challenged myself to make one once a fortnight! The picture is of my dd Ria and it was taken on Christmas day in the afternoon when we went for a walk at West Bay. I have edited the picture in PSE5 and removed most of the colour apart from the colour of Ria (I'm still learning about all these different things I can do with my pics!lol) The papers are Raspberry Road Designs a digi freebie kit called Oceans Apart, title was done on the pc and the blooms are from my stash. I was very tempted to try and fill the empty space at the top but decided to go with the 'white space' trend, I think I like it lol. TFL
