Well firstly I hope you have all had a truely wonderful Christmas, we have here. I have finally managed to clear enough space on my desk to be able to make a card so did one for the Copic Colour Challenge and PaperTake Weekly. Image is one of the Adorable Annie range of stamps from Charmed Cards & Crafts and she has been coloured using copics the challenge colours were Y15, BG05 and E47 I have also used R00, 11 E35, 37 & BG01. The papers I have used are all scraps and I really cant remember where they have come from (sorry) the flowers, gems and tag are all from my stash and the peeloff sentiment is Anitas and as it says Thank - you, it fits with the challenge over at PTW. Right now its time to get ready for work but hope to be back blogging and crafting more regularly real soon. TFL

SCSC #62 - Snow & MTTC #70 - Yuletide Wishes

Ok back after a few days absence due to D&V bug which left me feeling very yuckky indeed, also meant I missed some challenges! I did manage to get some colouring done though so hopefully should get a few more cards made over the next couple of days so I'm starting with the challenges over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which is snow and all these cards have snow on them somewhere! and the challenge over at My Time To Craft is Yuletide Wishes which again they all have. I have used Miss Anya images all coloured with copics and some sakura stardust pens and glitter glue. Sentiments are a mix of sizzix dies and digi stamp from charmed cards & Crafts. Have to say the brrr card is not included in the challenges as I made that last week but was trying out something new I discovered on my camera that allows me to take upto 4 shots and put them together as if for an 'e-auction' so I thought I'd give it a try, must say I am impressed, I've only had the camera a year and I'm still finding new things out about it!lol Oh well time to make more cards. Thanks for stopping by and having a look. x

Spoon Full of Sugar challenge #81 Monochromatic

Well for this weeks challenge over at Spoon Full Of Sugar of Monochromatic I went out of my comfort zone, While I was pushing bits of coloured cs round trying to choose the right ones the smaller images got in the way but I kinda liked what they did so that was how this card was born. The images are from the Joanna Sheen Victorian Christmas cd and the cs is coredinations and a scrap of gold card from my box of odds. TFL

Dotties World - You're A Star & Sketch & Stash #25

Great challenge to use as star or stars on your project this week over at Dotties World and as per normal I seem to have left it to the last minute but at least I have made it within the time!lol I have used the image of Dottie as a Christmas Fairy (pre coloured) from the bumper Christmas Collection and the sentiment is from the Pixies collection 1, papers are papermania (from 2 years ago I think!) and the stars are from my stash, the card is based on the sketch from Sketch & Stash and I have to say that all the stash is neglected so time to use it again!lol TFL

Anya Ink #10 Odd shaped cards

Oh boy am I cutting this fine! The challenge over at Anya Ink this week was for odd shaped cards, well it stumped me for a while coz I was really stuck for a shape and have cut various ones out and then not liked them so they have ended up in the bin then I remembered these little boots I bought about 4 years ago that have been stashed away and forgotten as I wasnt sure what I could do with them once I bought them! Well now thanks to Miss Anya I can use them! Miss Anya is coloured with copics and then frosted lace stickles added as they have been to the top of the boot (they are still wet!lol) and the brrr is a sizzix die cut out of sparkly silver card. Hope you like it, I'm pretty pleased with it and think it could be a good way to make some last minute quick cards. TFL

Dotties World - Boy Oh Boy & Stamp Something - Glitzy

Another card for 2 challenges, Dotties World where the challenge is Boy Oh Boy and there is a prize up for grabs too - £10 to spend at Charmed Cards and Crafts so be quick and go check out the challenge (new challenge is up on Sunday!) and over at Stamp Something the challenge is to get 'Glitzy' well considering I have done a boy card I still managed to get glitzy by stamping some snowflakes with my glue pad and sprinkling glamour dust over them, the image is from the new Boy Oh Boy collection by the extremely talented Louise and they are available to buy from Charmed Cards and Crafts, this image is Chill Time (I've removed the wheels from his skate board to make it a snow board!) coloured with copics, the sentiment is cut with a sizzix die and then some vellum peeloff snowflakes and a touch of doodling with sakura stardust pen. Took the second picture to try and show the glitzy snowflakes. TFL

2 in 1 card and a digi layout

Firstly my card, this is for the challenges over at SCSC #60 which is Christmas Trees and Sketch Saturday #79. My image is a Christmas tree stamp from one last years Anita's collections, I stamped it in green ink and heat embossed it with silver pearl powder, its stamped on creamy coloured parchment paper and the pps are MME Wonderful Winter, the adhesive gems came from the £1 shop. Now the digi layout isnt for any challenges but it was something I did today at my digi photography and image manipulation course. I have wanted to know how to extract an image from a photo and then to be able to use it as an element in my digi scapping and now I do and I'm so excited about it! lol I'll be looking at my camera in a new light now seeing what else I can make into elements! lol The rest of the credit for the paper and other elements go to Staceys Scraps and her freebie kit Give Thanks TFL
