Morning all, well as long as blogger is playing my card for this weeks challenge over at Crafty Catz is on time this week! lol. For my card I have used the adorable 'Camariere!' and just one of my favourite combos which is brown & blue, papers are all from the Cosmopolitan range from Making Memories.  The image is coloured with a mix of Chameleons and Copics with a hint of white gel pen. Various die cuts, Prima Got Flowers and gems and I finished off with a PTI stamped sentiment.  Now I'm hopeless when it comes to lining stamps up properly and I was given a Stamp-a-majig a while back and it has sat on my desk as I didn't have a clue how to use it, so I went looking on good ole YouTube and found lots of demos and it's now one of my favourite tools, it's so clever and I'm wondering why I just sat looking at it baffled for so long! lol It certainly helped me with the placement of this sentiment.

Crafty Catz Challenge #410 Anything Goes

Guess what? Summer Breeze Elena

Hello, just thought I'd pop on and post this easel Mother's Day card now as it has been received.  The image I have used is 'Summer Breeze Elena' by Simply B Stamps and she was the February freebie when you purchased $8 worth of images so unfortunately she is no longer available but I certainly was not going to miss out on her! I have coloured her using copics, papers from my stash, Prima Got Flowers, pearls and the sentiment is actually from another Simply B Stamps image called 'Bianca Hipster'  I kept the colours all neutral and I'm glad I did as I love how this turned out and so does my mum!

Good morning, well the snow of Storm Emma hit us here in Dorset yesterday, I had been keeping my fingers crossed that it wouldn't land but no such luck! At least I had managed to get home from work before it started and doesn't look like I'm going anywhere anytime today, oh well some extra crafting time, maybe this snow isn't so bad after all!

For my card I have used an image from Emerald Faeries called Kayla & Twinkie, I had forgotten I had these images!  I didn't want to go with the traditional blue or pink so went with green & yellow, the paper is from my stash but I don't what make, I teamed it up with some green cs.  The image is coloured with Copics, Chameleons and SN Sparkles for the wings then I inked around the edge with SU! hello honey which I also used on the sentiment die cut.  The sentiment is a PTI stamp. The border die cut is from Crafty Sentiments and then I finished off with some die cut branches and prima Got Flowers and some enamel dots.

So for my card this week I have used this fabulous image from Simply B Stamps, she is called 'Rockin' Birthday' and I knew I had just the right ribbon to match the ribbon in her hair.  It actually has white spots but the picture isn't showing them that well!  I coloured the image with a mix of copics and chameleons. The sentiment comes with the image which I printed on red cs then die cut with a new die I picked up at The Works.  Finished off with some white pearls.  Kept it very clean and simple.

A Little Love

Hi, I'm just coming to the end of a wonderful week off work, back to it with a vengeance doing 15 hours Saturday and Sunday with a sleep in in the middle!  Anyway this week off work enabled me to take part early in the progressive challenge (I'm normally completing these challenges very last minute! lol) over at SBS Friends, a great little hang out on Facebook for fans of Simply B Stamps.  Anyway this month we had a choice of images (eyes open or eyes shut) we had to use the colours red, pink and white (we could use more but had to use those 3) and we had to use one of the sentiments that came with the image.  So this months image is Valentine Vickie and I chose to use the eyes shut version.

I have coloured her with copics and chameleons and then added touches of SN Sparkle, the paper is Teresa Collins Love Lines from Junkitz.  Added the pink cs ribbon border threaded with black and silver edged ribbon and then 3 hearts 2 of which have been embossed and then all 3 have been edged in white ink, they are stacked together using foam pads for more dimension.

Crafty Catz Challenge #397 ~ Anything Goes

Ooops late again! DIGITAL PAPERCRAFT

Well at the moment my crafting time is extremely limited and when I was looking for inspiration I came across a tin of Vintage Christmas Stickers and thought I'd be able to rustle up a quick card.  I went with vintage for the rest of the card. The paper is from Flair Designs and I roughed up the edges then added distress inks using peeled paint, vintage photo and walnut stain. I also did the same treatment to the tag before adding the Father Christmas.  Used a little bit of ribbon for the tag and some decorative tape from Lidls (just like washi tape), a few enamel dots and finished off with a sentiment sticker from the tin.
