Now dont forget that today is your last chance to be in with a chance of winning all 5 of these awesome stamps,  visit the DTs blogs leave a coment and dont forget to stop by the main Crafty Sentiments blog too.

Ok so now its over to you we'd love to see your Christmas cards and why not pop over to the store and let a couple of the new stamps fall into your basket - you'll love them.

Ok folks we are nearly at release day so dont forget if you want a chance to win all 5 of the stamps we are going to be previewing you need to visit all the DT blogs each day and the main Crafty Sentiments Design blog leaving some love on the way.   Well here we are day 4 and this time its the turn of Billy and here he is 'Dressing the Tree' and looking very pleased with his efforts too!  I have coloured the image with copics and then used some sakura stardust and then really pushed the boat out and added lots of red gems which was great fun!  My papers are MME Wonderful Winter glitter papers (which I think I got last year and still have plenty of.) Then I added a mat of glittered cs and for my embellishments I have used some red christmas tree light brads that I bought a long time ago and they have been sat waiting for the right time to be used and today just seemed right and I teamed them up with some green wire then I finally added a stamped sentiment from Papermania, a little red brad and the little present at the bottom of the tree came in a bag of freebies with a magazine last year.  Wow I have really been having fun with these stamps so I hope you are enjoying seeing all our previews.

Are you enjoying the previews?  I am!  dont forget if you want a chance to win all 5 of the stamps we are going to be previewing you need to visit all the DT blogs each day and the main Crafty Sentiments Design blog leaving some love on the way.   Well here we are day 3 and today its the turn of Billy to take centre stage and today he has 'Gone Sledging'  I really wanted to give the impression of him being out in the snow so I went with a mainly white theme and added embossing to the different white panels and then finished them off with some frosted lace stickles that I had forgotten I had!  Billy and his sledge have been coloured with copics and some frosted lace on the fluffy bits I then raised him up on foam pads and added some silver snowflakes and a sticker sentiment.  I used to get really worried when I saw a challenge that was for mainly white cards but now I actually enjoy them and they can be so effective, really pleased with the way this one turned out and I hope that Billy has fun sledging!

Crafty Sentiments ~ Monochromatic

Well here we are its Thursday and its my turn to host our challenge this week over at Crafty Sentiments and its 'Monochromatic'  I decided to have a go at making a totally digital piece using my bamboo tablet and I even had a go at colouring the cute image of Amy relaxing digitally, but I wanted to try and get some depth to the colouring, I'm quite pleased with what I have acheived and hope that with a bit more practice I can get better at this (self teaching!)  The image is available as a digital stamp from the Crafty Sentiments Store, the papers and elements are from 2 digi kits The Office by Staceys Scraps and Java Joe by Raspberry Road Designs.  Hope you like it too.

I'm thinking I might laminate this and put it on the wall in my craft room instead of on a card. Ok so now its over to you, pop over to the blog and check out the rest of the amazing work by my awesome team mates.  This week we are being sponsored by

OSAAT ~ Tag It

I started this Tag Book of Bookmarks off to meet the challenge over at OSAAT which this week is tag it but other than that I realised while I was making it that I didnt have anyone in mind to actually give it too, it is quite masculine but my dad has now got one of those 'kindles' so it wont really work for him so it will have to stay in my box until I find the right recipient!  I have used Bo Bunny papers A Gift Of Love and the images are from the Joanna Sheen cd Dancing with Shadows.  All the edges have been inked to give a more vintage/distressed feel to the whole project and I have printed each image twice but on different backgrounds and then stuck them together for added interest and strength.  I have included quite a few pics so that you can see how it all works together.  This is different for me but I must say I enjoyed making it.
All closed up and no one to go to!

Opened up

Side one of the bookmarks (I think this is my fave side)

A Hybrid card

Well I have been busy sorting thru all the digi stuff I have on my pcs and transferring stuff to my external harddrive yesterday and today, still have some to go thru yet but took some time out to make a card this afternoon and decided to go with a hybrid card.  So made my background in PSE5 using a digi kit called 'Summer Berries' by Staceys Scraps.  When I was happy with it I printed it off and also printed of a strawberry element which I mounted in a 'build-a-brad' and added before sticking to card.  I then stamped my image 'Strawberry Delight' available at the Crafty Sentiments Store directly onto the card and added colour using my copics and wc pencils then finished off with a freebie sentiment from Docrafts Creativity magazine a while back.  I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Allsorts #106 ~ Its all white

Over at Allsorts this week the challenge is 'all white, except the image' and I thought this cute image 'Rosie - Spring Flowers' which is available in rubber from the Crafty Sentiments Store would work really well.  I have coloured with a touch of the palest grey copics and then added some glamour dust and pink glitter for my colour.  I then matted the image onto a piece of white card which after I embossed it I flipped over and then added glue and glamour dust for a different touch, then another panel of embossed white card and a silver sentiment and white pearls.

and here is a close up of the sparkle

Crafty Sentiments ~ Sparkle

Ok, its Thursday so time for another great challenge over at Crafty Sentiments and this week its a nice easy one for you 'SPARKLE' and we know how you all love your sparkles for your cards.  We have a great sponsor for you too, its

how fabulous.

So for my card I combined 2 of the new stamps from the Primrose collection, available at the Crafty Sentiments store and now with free p&p to all UK customers!  I have used the bench stamp and combined it with 'Take a Break' I have coloured the images with a mix of copics, wc pencils and some sakura stardust then I added more sparkle in the form of glitter which I think shows up better in the 2nd photo.  My background paper is from a Raspberry Road Designs digi kit called Earth Day, the flowers are from my stash and I added glitter to the big one, I also added glitter to my brad.  The sentiment is also from the Crafty Sentiment Store and is a new black & white digi stamp which I have recoloured in PSE5.

and now for a close up of all that glitter (definately more glitter than I normally use! lol)

So I hope that when you have stopped by other DT members blogs andchecked out their awesome work you will be coming to join in our challenge, we look forward to seeing you over at Crafty Sentiments  Remeber you dont have to use a Crafty Sentiments image but we would LOVE to see them.  Have fun with that sparkle! xx

Stamp, Scrap & Doodle ~ Whats on your desk right now?

This week the challenge over at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle is a really fun one.  They want us to make a project using whatever we have on our desk at the moment!  I was just looking at my desk Oh No! all I've got is of cuts of card, my peel off folder and not a lot else til I looked more closely and realised I had a butterfly that I had rescued from a shop bought card I had received and then part of an old handmade card that Ria had found in her box of bits and it was coming apart so I was planning on recycling bits of it and hey presto my card emerged!  I was really surprised the only thing I had to add that wasnt already on my desk was the little piece of velvet ribbon as thankfully I hadnt actually put my container of scrap card pieces back on its shelf! lol  I'm actually pleased with the result and at how quickly it came together, must try this idea again when my mojo has gone for a wander!

I would also like to enter this into the following challenges:

Primrose - Autumn Leaves

Wow! what a wonderful day we have had here, glorious sunshine and I was at work! Never mind lol  I have made another revision book for Ria this one is for her french so we decided to go with a red white and blue theme and I have used one of the gorgeous new stamps from the Crafty Sentiment Store, this one is called 'Primrose ~ Autumn Leaves'  I chose to use her because her hat is a beret! and coz she is just so cute! lol  Coloured her with copics and added some sakura startdust to her boots and beret trim.  The papers are a Raspberry Road Designs digi kit called Baileys Room and the sentiment is from one of the weekly freebies from Sentimental Sundays as I thought it was quite apt for a revision study guide.

Crafty Sentiments ~ Neutral Colours

Ok its Thursday again and time for another great challenge over at Crafty Sentiments but before I get onto that did you know that the Crafty Sentiments Store has a great offer price for pre-ordering some Martha Stewart Punches and some EK Success Punches? NO! Well they do and I suggest that you take a few moments to pop on over to the Store and check 'em out!

Right onto my card for this weeks challenge which is 'Neutral Colours'  I have used one of the new stamps that are available in the store from the 'Primrose Collection'  this one is 'Primrose - Sweet Cookies'  When I saw this stamp it reminded me that I had a QuikCutz die of gingerbread people which I bought several years ago whenI was making circle journals and recipe swap cards and I had forgotten all about it but thought this was the perfect opportunity to bring it out again and rather than just cut them out of paper I decided to get my 'melt pot' out and dip them in clear utee for added shine, their faces and buttons are added in white gel pen. The cute Primrose has been coloured using copics.  Papers are from the DCWV Natural stack and I have distressed all the edges with the help of my new BG precision file set which I got yesterday at my lcs for £3 then I added some s/a paper lace and the sentiment is a papermania embossing folder.  I was trying for a vintage feel to this so I hope I have acheived that.

Ok so now its your turn, check out the Crafty Sentiments blog to get more inspiration from the gorgeous work done by my team mates and then join in the fun.  This week we are sponsored by:
