Whoo Hoo, we are having a blog hop this week at Crafty Sentiments to celebrate the release of Amy in digi stamp form and you should have arrived here from Heather's blog (if not pop to the Crafty Sentiments Challenge blog and start from the begining)! Just wait til you check out the amazing work that the DT and some special guests have put together to show you just whats on offer and not only that but there are some great surprise prizes to be had along the way!
So what do you have to do? Well pop along and visit the DT making sure you leave them some love on the way and 5 of you lucky commenters will be chosen at random from 5 of out blogs to each win an adorable Amy digi stamp and it doesnt stop there as this week to mark the release of the Amy digi stamps you are being given an adorable Amy freebie to take part in this weeks challenge and the prize for the winner picked randomly will be 3 digis from the store, wow what a great event this is going to be!
Ok so on to my project and I decided not to make a card this week but instead I have used a Cranberry sauce jar (left over from christmas!) and turned it into storage for some of my buttons, my blue buttons to be precise! lol So I kept with the blue theme and used Amy sitting and coloured her with blues, I wasnt sure initally how Amy would look all in blue but I actually like the effect, I think I will be decorating more jars with monochromatic Amys. The lace that she is sitting on is actually some s/a paper lace from Lakeland plastics that I coloured to match then I wrapped some ribbon round the lid and used my Nesties and Nellies topped off with some buttons cut from a sizzix thin cut die.
So you've seen what I've been up to, now its time to check out the other members of the DT and your next stop on the hop is
then dont forget to pick your freebie Amy and join in the fun, this is what she looks like ....
How can you possibly resist her?! 'Go on join in You know You want to!'
I would also like to enter my project into the following challenges:
Cupcake Crafts # 134 ~ Monochromatic
Totally Papercrafts # 58 ~ Add buttons
Tuesday Throwdown # 41 ~ Anything but a card
Digital Tuesday # 103 ~ Button Up
