Whoo hoo its Thursday and that means its Crafty Sentiments challenge day and not only that but this week its our Blog Hop too! I hope you are sitting comfortably with a cuppa as this is quite a long post! And the reason for our blog hop ... well there are 4 fantastic new stamp releases in the Crafty Sentiments Design store today ready for all your Christmas stamping and fabulous new paper packs, a gingham set and an awesome set of Christmas papers! You certainly wont be disappointed and the DT have made some fabulous crafty pieces to share with you this week.
Now the blog actually starts and finishes at the challenge blog so if you havent got to me from CLAUDINE'S blog then you need to go to the challenge blog and start from the begining, you wont be disappointed. All you need to do is pop by all the blogs, leave some love at each stop then pop back to the challenge blog to let us know you've been all the way round. On Sunday Random Generator will pick 2 lucky winners who will each win a new release stamp, (they are wonderful and great to colour)
Here is a peek at what the papers look like.
Dont they look good. Well I have used a couple of the Christmas Delights papers on my projects this week. No this week we have asked for 'Anything but a Card' now I love making cards but also enjoy thinking outside the box occasionally and doing something a little different and it looks the rest of the DT enjoy it too!
My first project uses Amy with a Card and I have coloured her with copics and added glitter for that festive bling. The papers are both from the Christmas Delights pack. I used a plastic cup that I have had for years! When I bought it Ria was still very young (She is now 14! lol) and it had crayons and some pictures to colour and I thought it would be something lovely for her to do and give as a gift at some point but it just sat and sat on different shelves and in cupboards until this challenge and I thought it rally was time I used it! The 'For You has been cut on my xyron personal cutting system and I have added the brads for more dimension.
My second project uses Winter Amy Sitting and I decided to use one of the many old cds I have lying around that are no good anymore to make a wall plaque to use as Christmas decorations. She is coloured using copics and I added some clear sakura stardust to the cuffs of her mittens, the paper is again from the Christmas Delights pack. The sentiment is a sizzix thin cuts die. I actually think I am going to make a set of these using all the stamps.
Ok so now you have seen what I have been up to with these fabulous new stamps and papers its time to pop over and visit Tammylee and see what she has been up too.
And dont forget to join in with our challenge too. 'Go on You know You Want to!'
