I have managed to make a card for 2 challenges but I am not entirely happy with it seem to be struggling with my mojo! Anyway the challenges are My Time To Craft - in the frame, the frame is cut with a sizzix die from mountboard and coloured with copics to which I have then added background paper from papermania and a combination of 3 flowerws from my stash. The background paper is a freebie from a magazine which I have had in my drawer for ages and cant even remember which mag its from! The challenge at Spoon Full of Sugar was to use distress inks (on my flowers), glitter (on my flowers) and pearls (on my frame). I havent added a sentiment yet as not sure what I will use it for but thought when I do I will add the sentiment inside the frame

Dotties World - Its a Small Thing
I was really looking forward to this challenge over at Dotties World this week, had it all planned out in my head and I tried several attempts which ended up in the bin! I stuck with my idea but it hasnt turned out as well as I had hoped but at least this one I will be able to use. I am planning on making a little mini book of all the D&G and others images so that I can refer to that even when my pc isnt on and make my plans, so I hope to make a few more of these to hang from the binding wires (this is not yet started but it is in the planning stages!) But I just had to use this image of Holly in USA as it really is one of my all time favourites. Hopefully one day I will get the hang of this shrink plastic stuff! TFL and sorry for cutting it so fine yet again!
PaperTake Weekly - Sketch #35
Why is it that when I plan to have a day of crafting other things always get in the way and all I have managed is 1 card so far! The card is for the sketch over at Papertake Weekly and I have used an image sent to me by Sammi and coloured with copics to which I added some skaura clear stardust to her wings and some diamond glaze to her boots, I used flash for the photo to try and show this. The papers are a digi kit called Annies Room from Raspberry Road Designs it was a freebie from a few years ago now! I used the excut border system and tonic studio punches for the borders on the green paper, been trying to do this for ages but could never quite get the spacing right but found a video clip that explained it so theres no stopping me now! lol
I picked up the little heart gems in the pund shop recently they are in 4 sizes and 3 colours. you end up with about 120 gems so not bad for £1. TFL I'm off to see if I can complete another challenge or maybe 2 if I'm really lucky!

Friday Sketchers #90
Well I managed to squeeze in another card tonight, this time for the sketch over at Friday Sketchers. I have used a pre-coloured image from the Holly & Madison World Tour Collection available from Charmed Cards & Crafts, this has to be one of my all time favourite images. The papers are a freebie digi kit by Sweet Blossom Designs that I picked up a while ago and the colours work perfectly with this image. The stetson and boots I believe are a sizzix die that a friend cut for me about 3 years ago and then I added the peeloff sentiment. TFL

4 challenges in 1 card
Well as the week ahead of me looks to being pretty busy I thought I'd combine some challenges so I have used the sketch from Sketch and Stash, the colour combo of Green +1 (yellow) from My Time To Craft, gingham paper for the Papertake Weekly challenge and spring time theme from Spoon Full of Sugar. The image is part of a set of 4 called Art Flowers by rubbadubbadoo and they have a magnetic backing. I bought them a long time ago but havent actually used them for quite a while so it was nice to give them an airing! the ribbon, flower and brad are all from my stash and the gingham papers were some I downloaded from somewhere a long time ago and that I have never used! The cs is also embossed with a check pattern. I havent put a sentiment on yet but I'm not totally sure what I will use it for so when I do decide I will add a sentiment. TFL

Dotties World - Hearts & SCSC - Multifold
Combined the challenge of Hearts, doodling and a charmed download at Dotties World with the challenge to make a multifold card for Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and made a gate fold card which has a magnetic closure, papers are from a digi collab kit by Staceys Scraps and Mels Lightbulb Moments called 'Livin' Life n Lovin' It' a gorgeous and bright kit which I felt worked well with Birthday Present Dottie. I used a precoloured image and removed her red ballon and replaced it with a glittery silver heart, my doodling is round the edge of the frame. Now it is time for me to go to bed as I'm on an early shift in the morning! Night all and TFL
Anya Ink - Monochromatic & Sketch Saturday #90
I have combined the 'monochromatic' challenge over at Anya Ink with the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and this is what I came up with. I went for greys and used Anya Rain coloured with copics and sakura glaze pens with a touch of sakura stardust, matted her onto some silver mirricard which I embossed with raindrops texture plate by fiskars. The papers are from A Hint Of Pink(!) by Kate Knight - Dovecraft, the sentiment I did on the computer and the flowers were some I got today a little bunch of white ones for £1 in the works which I then coloured grey with copics and then added a leaf punch and some faux stitching. Right time to try and get another card made. TFL

I used WS Dressy Ed and paper pieced his suit with gingham paper from K&Co Briana range which I used some other sheets of for the mat and background. I put my flowers thru the BS with swiss dots embossing folder for added texture then added a peeloff sentiment. Oh and coloured the image with copics (of course) TFL
Friday Sketchers # 89
Great sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers and I have made a hybrid card. The papers and elements are all from a digi kit by Stacey Towers of Staceys Scraps (in my blog list) the kit is called Rock Star and I love the colours. I have used an image called Ava by SJ Musings that I picked up at her Valentine Blog Party, then I paper pieced her dress. The background paper, ribbons and star are all done together as one in PSE5 then the rest were added after printing, the word art is part of the kit too. I also added some purple to her hair instead of it being black. TFL

Dotties World - Be My Valentine & Sketch Saturday #89
So here is a Valentine card for the challenge over at Dotties World, I have used the oh so cute Dottie dressed up as a little devil from the halloween collection and I have used the sketch from Sketch Saturday. All the other pieces of my card are using bits and pieces from my scraps drawers and I embossed the black cs with a Big Shot embossing plate of paisley pattern. Now its done I'm not so sure about the black hearts (quickcutz die) but I tried them in red and I tried 1 of each colour and they didnt work but when I first did this I thought it worked and now I dont know! lol never mind! TFL

A digi lo for 3 challenges
I dont really do Valentines Day and with all the great challenges out there this week where valentines is part of the theme I had to think really hard and to start with I decided to do a digi lo as this keeps me in line with my own challenge to do a scarpbook page once a fortnight and the more I looked at the challenges the more this lo came into being. Firstly I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers which I love and really felt it worked well for a digi lo, then I used the theme of Love Somethings from Stamp Something and Hearts & Kisses from My Time To Craft. The kit I have used is called Spring Fling and was a freebie kit from the very talented Vicki of A work In Progress. Its all put together in PhotoShop Elements 5 and the photo is cut into a heart shape using a 'cookie cutter'. Thanks for looking. xx

Dotties World - I can see clearly now
Well over at Dotties World this week Adele set us the challenge of using acetate well I didnt have any so improvised and I hope my improvisation is ok. I used the cheeky cat image from the Cat Collection available at Charmed Cards And Crafts and coloured it with copics but before printing it placed it on a background pattern in PSE5, once coloured I laminated it and trimmed it then using my craft knife I cut around the lower part of the cat so that you can tuck the page under the body and he looks like he is hanging on your book, at least that was the effect I was trying to get! Hope you like it. TFL
Anya Ink - A Sketch
This week over at Anya Ink it was a sketch challenge, well I used the sketch but didnt make a card but tried out my new BIA and made a box as a gift for another of Rias friends. The papers are papermania Secret Garden, ribbon is from my stash as are the flowers and the adorable images are from the signature set and they were a very recent gift from my good friend Sammi (perfect timing thanks Sammi) This has certainly taken me a while but I am pleased with the way it has turned out. lol I obviously moved slightly while taking the pics as the camera was set to auto and the flash went off for a couple of the pics and not the others! Sorry about that.
