Dotties World Challenge - A Sketch

Over at Dotties World this week Karen set us a challenge to use her sketch but also that ...The scalloped edge merely depict some sort of fancy edge. It doesn't have to be scallops but you MUST provide a fancy edge of some description, this is not an element that can be changed. You must of course include one of our downloads too. It is a great sketch and I decided to use it to make a scrapbook page and a traditional one at that not a digi one! Mind you the papers are from a digi kit which is a collab between Vicki ( a work in progress) & Sara (sweet blossom Designs) but this kit is only available thru Scrap 'n' Art magazine the kit is called Spring Zest its really vibrant. I chose a picture of Ria when she used to be a Brownie and they had been working towards their circus performer badge which ended in a bit of a circus day in the nearby village. The pic was taken in our garden before she went. So juggling Dottie was just the perfect image to use for this one and I added teh actual badge too. The heart and the journaling plate were cut on my xyron personal cutter, scalloped circles are nesties and the scalloped edge is hand cut. TFL and thanks Karen for the inspiration it was nice to do a traditional page for a change. Sorry the pic is a bit blurry I scanned it as the photo I took didnt come out too well so thought this would be better it is but not by much!
