TGF ~ Jade

Well tonight I sat here and put together a card for the challenge over at Anya Ink which this time is for Black & White + 1 colour and for this I opted for green.  I have used the image of Jade from the 1st Roll Call set and after seeing an image that Ria had coloured of Jade using b&w and adding a pink stripe to her hair which worked so well I decided to try something similar and once I had chosen my papers (coredinations cs and DCWV glitter stack I decided I needed more than just the hair stripe in green and this card is my end result.  There is also a TGF sentiment stamped up in the top right corner but it doesnt show up too well in the pic and it says 'say what?'

Anya Ink #5 Christmas in July & Sketch and stash #40

I havent taken part in the challenges over at Anya Ink for a while now so thought it was about time and I combined it with the challenge this week over at Sketch and Stash.

Anya Ink # 5 ~ Christmas in July so I used my winter Anya, coloured with copics and then I used some Craft Planet glitter glue in irridescent sparkle and her boots are sakura glaze.

Sketch and Stash # 40 ~ this is all made using old stash, last years christmas papers which are MME, the cord is a freebie from the docrafts magazine from last christmas and the little metal snowflake I have had for absolutely ages.

Anya Ink #3 Bling

Ok this project which is for the Bling challenge over at Anya Ink I had finished last night except for the flower button which I decided at the last minute to add diamond glaze after I had coloured it with sakura stardust. So I had to add the button and take the pic this morning before Ria took it to school for her friend for her birthday! (yes I had plenty of notice Monday night!lol) Unfortunately the pic doesnt really show the glitz and bling of the glitter or stardust but using flaxh only gave me glare! The paper is from the DCWV glitter stack, the image which is coloured with copics and stardusts is a digi download of Audrey from TGF, then I added the card candy, 'celebrate' and glazed button to the outside of the glass. The lettering inside the glass says 'randominated' which the girls made up as Ellie is very random and we thought the pattern on the paper was also quite random. Hope it goes down well today.

Anyway I have a day off today and somehow I have managed to bruise my heal and it hurts to walk or stand so looks like I'm desk bound today - oh what a shame! lol

'new look' Anya Ink challenge 1 easel card

Have you checked out the new look Anya Ink yet they are also teaming up with CC Design Stamps and the first challenge is to make an easel card, well I just had to join in now that I know how to make easel cards! lol Although this is an easel card I havent made it to send to anyone I have made it for my daughter Ria who is a definate Twilight fan and I am pleased to say she loves it. The papers are from a freebie sampler kit by Sweet Blossom Designs and the design is of course WS Edward & Camille from TGF. TFL

PTW Sketch #39 ; Anya Ink #2 pink & sparkly & SFOS #100 Happy Birthday

This card is for the Papertake Weekly challenge which is a sketch, Spoon Full Of Sugar which is Happy Birthday and Anya Ink which is Pink & Sparkly. This took me a while because I knew what image I wanted (coloured with copics & sakura stardust) and I knew I wanted to use the pink sparkly patterned paper (DCWV glitter stack) but then I spent ages trying to find other suitable papers and elements but I got there in the end. The gingham paper is from the internet the cs is coredinations which I have then embossed with a paisly pattern, the ribbon and flowers are from my stash and the leaves have been cut from some green corrugated paper that I have had for years I also went round the edge of the sentiment with glitz it glitter glue for even more sparkle. TFL

3 challenges in 1card

Tonights card is for the Bling challenge over at Anya Ink, I have used dressy Joyce digi from TGF, coloured with copics and I have used sakura stardust in her hair, for her shoes, eyeshadow and little heart on the dress I have then used ultra fine glitter of 2 colours for the frills on her dress, my circle has glitter on it and doodling using the sakura stardust pen, I have used a sparkly brad and gem from the papermania Heather capsule collection so I think I got some bling on there somewhere! lol the card is based on this weeks sketch at Friday Sketchers - #95 and the challenge at Stamp Something was to do some doodling - this is never a strong point for me but I have used some around the edge of the scalloped circle. The sentiments and corner stars are from a small freebie set of Forever Friends which was on the front of the Creativity magazine. TFL

Anya Ink - A Sketch

The challenge at Anya Ink this week was a sketch, really like this one definately one to use again. My papers are a digi kit called Summer Berries from Staceys Scraps at Scrap That Idea (it was a kit I bought with my winning voucher!) My image is the gorgeous Audrey digi stamp from TGF coloured with copics. The scalloped band is cut with a sizzix extended cut and the sentiment is a stamp from the freebie set with Papercraft Inspirations. When Ria realised I was going to be using PINK she didnt think it was the best colour for Audrey as she is such a tomboy but I think it worked out just fine! Will have to see what she thinks when she gets back from her friends! TFL

Anya Ink - Not a card

Great challenge! Anya Ink want us to make anything but not a card so I have made a plaque for Ria's room using an old cd as the base which I then covered with a digi paper by Sweet Blossom Designs then I added WS Dressy Edward & Camile both coloured with copics. She is really pleased with it and we have decided to make some more so that she will have a set. Yes she is definately Twilight mad! TFL

Anya Ink - Monochromatic & Sketch Saturday #90

I have combined the 'monochromatic' challenge over at Anya Ink with the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and this is what I came up with. I went for greys and used Anya Rain coloured with copics and sakura glaze pens with a touch of sakura stardust, matted her onto some silver mirricard which I embossed with raindrops texture plate by fiskars. The papers are from A Hint Of Pink(!) by Kate Knight - Dovecraft, the sentiment I did on the computer and the flowers were some I got today a little bunch of white ones for £1 in the works which I then coloured grey with copics and then added a leaf punch and some faux stitching. Right time to try and get another card made. TFL

Anya Ink - for a loved one

This weeks challenge over at Anya Ink is For aLoved One and I have used an image that Sammi sent me, coloured with copics, papers are papermania and all the other bits are from my stash. This isnt how it was supposed to be been looking at making a mini envelope to go on it and when I made it, it really didnt work! lol. Anyway hope I made it in time. TFL

Anya Ink - A Sketch

This week over at Anya Ink it was a sketch challenge, well I used the sketch but didnt make a card but tried out my new BIA and made a box as a gift for another of Rias friends. The papers are papermania Secret Garden, ribbon is from my stash as are the flowers and the adorable images are from the signature set and they were a very recent gift from my good friend Sammi (perfect timing thanks Sammi) This has certainly taken me a while but I am pleased with the way it has turned out. lol I obviously moved slightly while taking the pics as the camera was set to auto and the flash went off for a couple of the pics and not the others! Sorry about that.

Anya Ink - No Patterned Paper & Spoon Full Of Sugar - Freestyle

Well this weeks challenge over at Anya Ink was a good one and really made me stop and think! No patterned paper (unless we made it ourselves) It took me a while to think of something and in the end I went for texture instead. The Image is the delightful Dressy Ebony coloured with copics (have been watching some of the masses of tutorials and tried to have a go at blending more with the hair and skin, hasnt worked as well as I would have liked but the practice will do me good!lol) CS is all coredinations and have used several different embossing folders, the little orange flower and charms I have had in my stash for ages bought a set of 6 for £1. I also am using this card to meet the challenge over at Spoon Full of Sugar as the challenge there is Freestyle. Now this card looks nice and quick and simple but actually it took me ages deciding on the placement of the rectangles I moved them around on my desk for ages before finally deciding on this arrangement!lol. TFL

I'm also very excited as I ordered a Bind-It-All tonight! Wanted one for a while and Adrian tried to get one at a local shop for christmas but couldnt get there till Christmas Eve at 2pm and they had shut at 1! and today he finished work early to get there again only to find that they have taken the 3 they have to an exhibition this weekend! He was not a happy bunny to say the least as he was trying so hard to surprise me for my birthday tomorrow so he said go ahead and order it on line at least you'll know your getting it! So I have done and Ria has paid for some wires to go with it for me so now I just have to wait patiently (Or not!!!!lol)

2 in 1

Well after seeing a fabulous card over on Sammi's blog the other day (mind you all her cards are fabby!) I decided to have a go at the challenge too so combined the challenge at Anya Ink this week which is Flowers with the Club Anya & Friends - Monday Mania with - Jen Shults which was a colour recipe of Olive Green, Pink & Brown + sparkle great challenges. This is my card - the Miss Anya was a stamped image that was sent to me, the papers are PaperMania Signature Regency, ribbon is American Crafts, flowers are cut from a Big Shot die and the gems were i my stash as was the little green bow in her hair. TFL

ETA: Ooops just found out (by reading the rules!lol) cant enter this into Club Anya as cant combine challenges - never mind it gave me a great colour combo anyway, lol

Anya Ink - One layer Card

What a great challenge Anya Ink laid down for us this week - One Layer Cards. Simple as that, one piece of card. No not so simple!lol I struggled to come up with an idea for this and all the DT examples were gorgeous so after much umming and ahhing I thought I'd keep it simple and used my fiskars mini shape boss which I bought when I first started getting into card making and used for a while then it went in a drawer and got forgotten. I only have one shape sheet for it but rather liked the corner design and then my card evolved from there. I highlighted parts of the design with clear sakura stardust for a little emphasis and decided to keep Miss Anyas fairly simple too so stuck with mainly black & white then added the pink when I remembered the peel off sentiments I had. I must say that although it was a struggle to begin with I'm actually pleased with the result and may try this idea again. So thanks Anya Ink for a great challenge that really made me stop and think. Anya Ink : Black & White + 1 and Sketch Saturday #84

As I'm a bit behind with my challenges this week I have doubled up again on this one. Its for the Anya Ink challenge which is black & white + 1 which I have done as pink and it is based on the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. The Miss Anya stamped image is one that I received as part of some blog candy and its the last one, I really must get this set! she is coloured with copics and a touch of sakura stardust for her boots, papers are Dovecraft A Hint of Pink and the wooden flowers are from my local craft shop. I'm actually not too sure about this card but Ria loves it!lol

Anya Ink #10 Odd shaped cards

Oh boy am I cutting this fine! The challenge over at Anya Ink this week was for odd shaped cards, well it stumped me for a while coz I was really stuck for a shape and have cut various ones out and then not liked them so they have ended up in the bin then I remembered these little boots I bought about 4 years ago that have been stashed away and forgotten as I wasnt sure what I could do with them once I bought them! Well now thanks to Miss Anya I can use them! Miss Anya is coloured with copics and then frosted lace stickles added as they have been to the top of the boot (they are still wet!lol) and the brrr is a sizzix die cut out of sparkly silver card. Hope you like it, I'm pretty pleased with it and think it could be a good way to make some last minute quick cards. TFL

This card is for the challenges at Anya Ink - Its begining to look a lot like Christmas, ABC - I is for Indigo Blue and Sketch & Stash #24. I have used Miss Anya coloured with copics, sakura glaze (for her boots) and glamour dust, the papers are my neglected stash and I'm not sure what make it is it might be HOTP but I've had it for so long I really cant remember, the tags are from the same stack, the adhesive ribbon I've had for ages too and my newest stash is the little blue brads. TFL

Anya Ink #8 vintage style & MTTC very vintage

Well this is for the challenge over at Anya Ink but I just missed out on the time thingy! but its also for the very vintage challenge at MTTC and I'm early for that one! Image is a Miss Anya from the dressy collection the paper is K&Co classis k Bailey with some parchment paper, image coloured using copics and edges inked, paperlace, buttons and blooms from my stash, right now I'm off to try and finish another card before the new challenge goes up. Anya Ink Challenge #6 Blue & Orange & PTW sketch #27

2 great challenges this week meant I have combined them into 1 card. Anya Ink this week was a colour combo challenge of blue and orange and PTW was a sketch. I have used a Miss Anya from the dressy collection and coloured her with copics and sakura glitter, the cs is coredinations glitterand ordinary andthe paper is papermania, flowers and brad from my stash. Anya Ink Challenge #5 Paper Tole & ABC G is for Green

When I started this card for the challenge over at Anya Ink I hadnt realised that it would fit the challenge over at ABC too (it wasnt intentional!lol) Anyway the image has been paper pieced, coloured with copics and paper toled too, the papers are all from the Papermania Secret Garden collection which I picked up at the show for only £1 the gems are Papermania tooand then I added a little peeloff sentiment, I didnt add too much to this as I really liked the pattern of the green background paper.
