Paper piecing with Crafty Catz

Good morning, well here we are it's Friday and time for a new challenge over at Crafty Catz but before I get to that please welcome Nikki to our happy team as GD for November.  Ok so this week the wonderful Nina has chosen the theme of 'Paper Piecing', I love this technique but don't seem to remember to do it too often! lol  We also have a great sponsor this week, it's

And the DT was lucky enough to get to have a play with some fabulous Digi Darla images.  For my card I have used 'Ashley with Roses' and I teamed her up with some gorgeous papers from Bearly Mine Designs,  I love paper piecing with digi papers because you can print them out at a size to suit your image.  After paper piecing I have coloured my image with copics and spectrums.  I added soem ribbon, flowers and gems from my stash and finished off with a stamped sentiment and did some distressing round the edge of the background and inking round the ovals.

    This is so cute with the mini pattern on her dress to match the bigger one on the card!!!! Great look with the ribbon too..
