Crafty Catz #244 ~ Recycle It

OOps so sorry but I am running somewhat late today, by the time I got to work yesterday and realised it was Thursday and my laptop was at home and I was on a sleepin it was just too late to rectify, also was a little bit caught up in nerves on behalf of Ria as it was AS results day yesterday too!  But she did us and herself proud and attained 3 A's in English Lang, Biology and Geography and 1 D in Chemistry.  To be fair she was expecting a poor result for the Chemistry as it had been an extremely hard exam and she plans to resit it. But we are just so proud of her. :-)

Anyway back to today, as it's Friday (ok I know 1/2 of the day has gone already! lol) which means time for a brand new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this time the talented Ingrid has challenged us (and you) to 'Recycle It' and we are sponsored by ...
PRIZE ......$15 GC to the Fred She Said Store.

Now you really should check out all the amazing projects by the DT ladies, they totally rocked this challenge.  I always get worried about recycling challenges, dunno why I've always got lots of recycled buttons and ribbon but wanted to try a little different.  While I was trying to think of something to do I came across this sentiment which I got as a freebie a long time ago from Sentimental Sundays and that was then I remembered an old road atlas tucked away on a shelf and thought it would work well. I also liked Naomi's sketch from a couple of weeks ago so used it again, I finished off with some small green gems and a butterfly from my stash.  It has already found a home in Ria's bedroom! lol

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

  7. The fantastic thing of this challenge is that there are so many fab ideas to... ekhm... borrow. I would never think to use an old map this way! Sorry for being so quiet during my holidays, the internet was really lame there. Have a nice week!
