Crafty Catz #236 ~ Stitches

Good morning it's Friday and time for a brand new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week our wonderful Naomi has chosen the theme of stitches (real or faux) and we have a fabulous sponsor for you in the shape of the

Prize 3 digi images

So for my card this week I ummed and ahhed about how I would add my stitching, should I draw it on..No! I could use my embossing folder ...No  or how about some die cut stitches? No ...No none of these were hitting the mark so that meant it was time to get the sewing machine out from under its cover and some boxes of scraps of card!  So out it came and real stitching appeared on my card!  The thing is I actually like it just don't think to do it very often, lol  I used a fabulous image from Dilly Beans, coloured with copics and spectrums and as you can see I've been playing around with hair colour again.  The large piece of paper is from the Santoro pad by Trimcraft and it is glittered, the smaller piece is from a very old K&Co pad but not sure which as the cover is now non-existant! and I stitched round this to attach it. The flower is from my stash and I added a little skull brad and a tag with a small bird stamped on it.  Finished of with a stamped sentiment.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Digi Makeover #145 ~ Stitching
Love to Create #120 ~ Anything Goes
