The other day I heard about The East Wind challenge blog so I took a visit and signed up for their newsletter and received this wonderful freebie 'Aurora Gardening' and just had to go ahead and use it to enter their challenge of embossing and this is the result!
I coloured using spectrums and added some definition using the pencils (still needs a lot of practice but I like the effect I'm starting to acheive) and I had a great time colouring her hair in pinks. The background paper is from Crafts Too pad, the embossed cs is yellow whitewashed coredinations embossed with a new darice folder, the sentiment was heat embossed and the card was finished off with JS butterflies and liquid pearls.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafts 4 Eternity #178 ~ Tic Tac Toe ~ Birthday, Yellow, embossing and die cuts, yellow and spots.
Love To Create #118 ~ Happy Birthday
Papertake Weekly ~ Anything Goes
And
The East Wind #8 ~ Embossing (wet or dry)
Just gorgeous, love the image and fab details.xxx
