Paper Piecing with the Crafty Catz

Good morning well it's my turn to choose the theme for the challenge over at Crafty Catz this week and I chose 'Paper Piecing', I love the effect but really don't do it often enough.  We have a fabulous sponsor this week too ...
prize...7 images of winners choice

The DT got to use some fabulous images from our sponsor and I chose the wonderful Gus Buddha, this card is for my dad's birthday (in May I'm getting organised! lol) and its a bit of a family joke!  I coloured Gus with spectrums and paper pieced the temple using papers from my new Neroli pad all the other papers are from the pad too (I actually managed 5 different pieces!)  I raised Gus on some foam pads for a little dimension and then decorated the inside too, to finish off the sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;
OSAAT #202 ~ Anything Goes
Challenges 4 Everybody #39 ~ Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly ~ Anything Goes
Crafty Creations #258 ~ Happy Birthday
