Ok while I was travelling round blogland I came across an interesting card that led me to Technique Time Tuesday so I had a looky see and thought I'd give it a go! Once I'd decide which stamp I wanted to use I realised I didn't really have a suitable stamp for the background so thought I'd see how it looked using patterned paper and I am really pleased with how it turned out. Once the image was all dry and ready for mounting I discovered that if I wasn't against just placing the image I could actually line up the printed paper of the image panel with the background paper then I just finished off with a few stamps around the edge. This is all I did in the way of embellishment as I felt the panel itself was interesting enough. It's certainly a technique I will be doing again and experimenting with different images and papers, might need to get some ink as well as I only have 2 Adirondack inks at the moment ~ currant and meadow, might see how coloured glitter works too as I used glamour dust here. It is very hard to get a good picture because of the acetate and glitter but it really does sparkle and shine irl! lol
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:
