Lift the person before you

While I was checking around blogland (like you do) I came across an interesting challenge over at Cleary iStamp.  The challenge goes like this ... 'What you do is leave a comment in the comment section stating you will play and your blog address. Then you look at the person who left a comment right before you and that is who you will lift.  You will go to their blog and find a project that you want to "lift". "Lift" means you take something from the project (colors, theme, image, layout, element, etc) and base your card on that.  (In your post if you can state who you lifted and what project...and if you can post their project on your blog that would be awesome! Like I did below.)'

So here goes ...

I lifted this card from nancyparker55 at Colouring Within the lines (she has some fabulous projects!)

And here is my card, I used some Papermania Christmas stamps (old ones) and black and white cs.  I embossed the sentiments and corners then added more white ink with some cottonwool for that wiped over blackboard effect and finished off with some white organza ribbon.  Felt really strange getting my black card smudgy, usually try so very hard not to get marks and smudges on it!  Love the blackboard effect so thanks Nancy for the nudge in the right direction.

I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges:
Clearly iStamp #4 ~ Lift the person before you
The Crazy Challenge #151 ~ Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly ~ Anything Goes
4 Crafty Chicks #154 ~ Black & White
