Crafty Sentiments ~ Neutral Colours

Ok its Thursday again and time for another great challenge over at Crafty Sentiments but before I get onto that did you know that the Crafty Sentiments Store has a great offer price for pre-ordering some Martha Stewart Punches and some EK Success Punches? NO! Well they do and I suggest that you take a few moments to pop on over to the Store and check 'em out!

Right onto my card for this weeks challenge which is 'Neutral Colours'  I have used one of the new stamps that are available in the store from the 'Primrose Collection'  this one is 'Primrose - Sweet Cookies'  When I saw this stamp it reminded me that I had a QuikCutz die of gingerbread people which I bought several years ago whenI was making circle journals and recipe swap cards and I had forgotten all about it but thought this was the perfect opportunity to bring it out again and rather than just cut them out of paper I decided to get my 'melt pot' out and dip them in clear utee for added shine, their faces and buttons are added in white gel pen. The cute Primrose has been coloured using copics.  Papers are from the DCWV Natural stack and I have distressed all the edges with the help of my new BG precision file set which I got yesterday at my lcs for £3 then I added some s/a paper lace and the sentiment is a papermania embossing folder.  I was trying for a vintage feel to this so I hope I have acheived that.

Ok so now its your turn, check out the Crafty Sentiments blog to get more inspiration from the gorgeous work done by my team mates and then join in the fun.  This week we are sponsored by:
