Is it just me ...

... or does everyone else get covered in glue doing decopatch?! After my mixed media project the other day I thought I'd do some more decopatch on a corner bookmark. Now I'm afraid I always cheat on these bookmarks and use a square envelope as my starting point instead of doing some fancy folding and to be fair the envelopes haven't let me down yet! lol. So after sticking down my envelope and then cutting a corner off I coated it with decopatch glue and torn pages from an old book, after tearing up the pages I also inked them (I really did get messy! lol) then stuck them to the back and the front of the envelope corner which has really given the bookmark added strength. While that was drying, I cut the frame and wording out on the Cricut using my new cartridge 'small talk frames and tags', brilliant cartridge, very versatile. made a back panel which I also decopatched then I coloured the fabulous image from TEW called 'Lucy Loo Mad Hatter' with a mix of my markers then attached her to the frame and added the back panel and finally added this to the envelope. This has be done to enter the Facebook challenge over at TEW where the theme is 'Not Now ... I'm Reading'

I would like to enter this bookmark into the following challenges:
