Good morning, I hope this post finds you all well and looking forward to the weekend, I certainly am as I have a 3 day weekend this weekend, Yay! Anyway as it is Friday that means that it is time for a brand new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week our wonderful Naomi has chosen the theme of 'Whimsical Fantasy' and we have a fabulous sponsor too
winner of your challenge a $10 gift certificate to spend at the Make it Crafty store
The DT were extremely lucky and got to choose an image from MIC to play with and I was even more lucky coz a friend gave me a voucher for MIC so I picked a few more up at the same time. I actually combined 2 of the images together to make my card. First of all I chose a digi paper from Raspberry Road Designs then in Photoshop Elements 5 I added 'Gnomey Drew' and once he was in position I added 'Whimsical Mushroom' 3 times and flipped one of the mushrooms. This is one of the reasons I love working with digi images, so much flexibility. With everything in the right place I printed it off and coloured the mushrooms and Drew with a mix of copics and spectrum pens & pencils. I added the little gold mushroom charm with some natural twine and then matted the picture using Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
OSAAT #233 ~ Anything Goes with nature
Crafting from the heart #52 ~ Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly ~ A Cut Above
