The DT were very generously given some wonderfully cute images to play along with.  I have used Rose and made a large tag which will work as a wall hanging.  I have coloured the image with copics and chameleons, the papers are from a glitter pad I picked up at The Range, some die cuts, a stamped sentiment, a vellum doily, a brad and I inked around the edge of the image and the edge of the sentiment and added a little lace.

A Little Love

Hi, I'm just coming to the end of a wonderful week off work, back to it with a vengeance doing 15 hours Saturday and Sunday with a sleep in in the middle!  Anyway this week off work enabled me to take part early in the progressive challenge (I'm normally completing these challenges very last minute! lol) over at SBS Friends, a great little hang out on Facebook for fans of Simply B Stamps.  Anyway this month we had a choice of images (eyes open or eyes shut) we had to use the colours red, pink and white (we could use more but had to use those 3) and we had to use one of the sentiments that came with the image.  So this months image is Valentine Vickie and I chose to use the eyes shut version.

I have coloured her with copics and chameleons and then added touches of SN Sparkle, the paper is Teresa Collins Love Lines from Junkitz.  Added the pink cs ribbon border threaded with black and silver edged ribbon and then 3 hearts 2 of which have been embossed and then all 3 have been edged in white ink, they are stacked together using foam pads for more dimension.

Crafty Catz Challenge #400 ~ Anything Goes

Crafty Catz Challenge #397 ~ Anything Goes

Ooops late again! I'm here with my post for this weeks challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week it's the turn of our wonderful teamie Nick to host and she gave the DT the additional twist that you can play along with too if you like, its Santa Claus is coming to town! Yep use a Santa on your card, nice and easy huh?.  The sponsor for this challenge is

Well at the moment my crafting time is extremely limited and when I was looking for inspiration I came across a tin of Vintage Christmas Stickers and thought I'd be able to rustle up a quick card.  I went with vintage for the rest of the card. The paper is from Flair Designs and I roughed up the edges then added distress inks using peeled paint, vintage photo and walnut stain. I also did the same treatment to the tag before adding the Father Christmas.  Used a little bit of ribbon for the tag and some decorative tape from Lidls (just like washi tape), a few enamel dots and finished off with a sentiment sticker from the tin.

Crafty Catz Challenge #393 - Anything Goes

Ok, fingers crossed this posts ok as I am busy at work and have sheduled this post.  Anyway today sees a new challenge start over at Crafty Catz and it's my turn to host.  The theme is as always 'Anything Goes' but I gave the DT a little twist which was to add 'Sparkle & Shine'.  Easy right in the run up to Christmas! lol  Anyway we have a fabulous sponsor this week

And the DT were very kindly given some fabulous images to play along with.  I have used the adorable Penguins, coloured with Chameleons and copics and a touch of SN Sparkle on the penguins and the scarf. Then I added glamour dust to the hat and bottom of her outfit.  The blue cs base has been embossed with clouds and the white circle has been embossed with a brick effect, I was kind of going for an igloo look, finished of with the winter wishes die cuts.

For my project I made an easel card calendar using papers from First Editions Blank Canvas pad and the cute bear image is from Crafty Sentiments.  The image is coloured with chameleons and then I have inked round the edges with Pool and Mountain Rose Adirondack inks.  Finished off the calendar with some Candi dots and fabric sentiment stickers from AMM.

Crafty Catz Challenge #389 ~ Anything Goes

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge over at Crafty Catz.  This week our host is our wonderful Janette and the theme is Anything Goes, plus Janette gave the DT the added twist of using Autumn Colours and we would love it if you joined in with the twist but you don't have to.  We have a fabulous sponsor this week in the form of

The DT were very kindly given some images to play along with and for my card I chose One Day, which I printed directly onto some orange cs. Then I had some darker orange cs which I ran through and inked embossing folder to give another tone of orange.  I then used another embossing folder and some brown cs to get the clock faces which I then added some gilding wax (this is still a new technique to me!) both background pieces were cut using an edged blade in my Purple Cows trimmer (I had forgotten about the other blades until I went to change the trimmer to the guillotine blade! lol) I then finished off with some orange bakers twine and two little keys.

Arachnia Ana for Betty

Hi, just thought I'd share this card with you as it's about to make it's way over to America.  I have used a special image from Simply B Stamps called Arachnia Ana, I have digitally paper pieced her dress using a paper from Bearly Mine Designs and then coloured her using copics and chameleons.  The background paper was on my computer but I don't remember where from (but it is very old!) the gates and cauldron were cut on the Cricut and some glitter added to the cauldron.

The DT were very generously given some wonderful images to play along with but unfortunately after printing my digi paper (from Raspberry Road Designs) and getting my frame cut on the Cricut when I went to print my image off I had no black ink left! I had to have a rummage around amongst my 'rubba' to find a stamp that fitted with what I had planned!  So I found this poppy image and decided to stick with a monochrome theme.  Coloured with Chameleons and some SN Sparkle added, a sizzix tag die cut little stamped sentiment, some ribbon and finally some gems.

Simply B Friends Progressive Challenge August

Just thought I'd share with you the card I made for this months entry in the progressive challenge over at Simply B Friends.  This months image is so sweet and is called 'Strawberry Rio' and I have used copics and chameleons to colour her, the paper is from Raspberry Road Designs and I teamed it up with some green cs some of which I have embossed and some I have used to make a frame, the frame and paper have both been cut on the Cricut.  The sentiment comes with the image and I finished off with some funky pink flower buttons and green bakers twine.

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #194 ~ Under The Sea or At The Beach

Well hello there, it seems like I've been away for so long!  Work! really does get in the way! lol but then how else would I be able to buy my craft supplies?  Anyway I'm back today (a little late) with details about the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers and this fortnight our wonderful Judy is the host and she chose the theme of  Under the Sea or At the Beach.

I opted for under the sea and used a cute image from Simply B Stamps Simon Seahorse who is part of the AlphaBettys collection.  I really couldn't decide how best to colour him so in the end I paper pieced him and love how he turned out.  All the papers are from MME.  The creamy cs that he is mounted on has been inked with 3 lots of distress inks.  The shells and banner are all cut on the Cricut from soft coral cs and I finished off with some liquid pearls and a stamped sentiment.
