What fabulous prizes and the DT were lucky enough to get to play along with some images from Make It Crafty for my card I have used Melody and a card fold I found on SCS called a modified tri shutter card, I love this it really is so simple but effective.  Red cs base and papers from First Editions Neroli pad, Melody has been coloured in copics and spectrums and cut and mounted with nesties, the bunting and star burst are JS dies and I made use of the star cut outs too to tie it all together and finished off with a stamped sentiment.

I took my inspirtation from the fantastic 'UP!', such a great film for youngsters and adults alike.  My image is a stamp from Crafty Sentiments Designs called 'Billy Birthday Present'I have coloured him with copics and spectrums and mounted him onto a background paper from Raspberry Road Designs ~ Frog Luau kit ~ (I'm no good at making these backgrounds so was thrilled to find this in my collections! lol) I then added a Quikcutz ballon which is attached to the calendar page to make it look like that is going up too and finally finished off with some glitter highlights on the balloons to complete another page of my calendar.

Fancy Folds over at Crafty Sentiments

Good morning it's time for a brand new challenge over at Crafty Sentiments and this week the wonderful Celine has chosen the theme of 'Fancy Folds' and we have a fabulous stamp up for grabs as the prize too ...

Now I have to admit I don't very often try new folds, although when I do I really enjoy it then think I must do that more often but it doesn't seem to happen! lol  So I tried another one for this card and really like how it turned out and it was SO simple!  I found it over at SPS (I modified it slightly).  I also decided to print the digital stamp direct to my Kraft card, I have used the adorable 'Couples' which is available in the Crafty Sentiments Designs Store I added some shading and touches of colour using spectrums and then cut it out with a scalloped nestie.  I then used my Cricut and some dies and puches to echo the grass, flowers and butterflies which I actually cut out of Kraft and coloured to match the colours I had used on the image and I finished off with a stamped sentiment.  Definitely a fold to use again!

Crafty Catz #227 ~ B is for ...

And the DT were very lucky and got to choose an image to use for the challenge.  I used 'My Free Time', coloured with spectrums, paper is from Crafty Creations (newly acquired!), mats are Kraft card, added heart ribbon (again new) and little wooden butterfly (oh new again! lol) finished off with some pastel snaps that I found in my stash when having a bit of a sort out!

We're hop, hop hopping at Crafty Sentiments

Hi There and welcome to our super cute baby themed hop! Want to win some brand new stamps? Of course you do - You have until Monday 21st to hop along - visit all 7 blogs leave a comment and finally pop to our Inspirational blog , make sure you are a followerer and leave us a message telling us your favourite stamp - There you go easy peasy!  So you should have arrived here from Caz's blog, isn't her project just adorable?  For mine I have made a gift box using the gorgeous new stamp 'Dayna See me rattle'  I coloured her with spectrums and added some white shimmer detail sparkle to the hat and rattle.  The box is made using the Cricut Expression and the 'Box It Up' cartridge.  There are some great boxes and I have to say I am impressed with them, they come out really strong.

So once I had stamped and coloured the super cute Dayna I did some more cutting with the Cricut using the New Arrival cartridge, a perfect accompaniment to these gorgeous new stamps, and now my box has 4 decorated sides and a lid too!

A pastel troublemaker

Actually I think she is just to cute to be a trouble maker, but you decide.  I have made a card tonight using the cute Tomboy Trouble from Kenny K, I've coloured her with copics and spectrums, popped her up on some foam pads and used some  of my new papers from Crafty Creations, am loving the pastel colours.  The orange oval has been embossed with a TH embossing folder of bricks, the rikrak is a sizzix die cut and the arrows are a Crafty Cutters by Crafty Sentiments die.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Fast Lane collection.

For my card this week I have used a cute image from Fred She Said, the Hummingbird, I have printed out the flowers 3 times and decoupaged them before mounting them onto my card then I fussy cut the hummingbird and using a strip of acetate attached it to the card so it appears to be flying/hovering over the flowers.  The image has been coloured with copics and I matched it with some fabulous paper from Bearly Mine Designs.  The sentiment is cut from scraps of card using the Cricut.

Easter or Spring with the Divas

Good morning another quick post as still got internet issues but hopefully by the time you ready this they may have sorted them out!  Anyway this week over at Divas By Design we'd love to see your Easter or Spring makes and we are sponsored by 'Hobbycutz', check out the challenge blog for more details.

So this week I made something a little different for me as I was able to use a free cutting file from Cricut so made this rather cute little basket.  I'm loving the fact I've now got the Expression and cut up to 12" makes such a difference.  The basket has been decorated with an old TGF Anya who hadn't been inked in a while, she is coloured with copics and spectrums and I added some die cuts, ribbon, ribbon slider and flowers from my stash and who knows maybe nearer to Easter I may even fill it up with goodies! lol

And a close up of the flowers and some adorable little crystal effect butterflies.

Celebrate Easter with Crafty Sentiments

Morning!  I'm keeping this short and sweet as I'm having real internet problems at the moment so need to get this sheduled while I can!

This week our theme is Easter over at Crafty Sentiments and the fabulous prize is this wonderful stamp.

For my card I have used the adorable stamp 'Harvest' which is available in store, and I've coloured with spectrums, backing paper is from Bearly Mine Designs and the cs is all scraps and I've used my new JS dies and finished off wth a sentiment from Crafty Sentiments Designs.

So there you have it, short and sweet and hopefully I'll be back to add my challenges, internet allowing! lol

For my card I used such a pretty image from Bugaboo, she really was a delight to work with and as she is tall and thin, like me! (haa haa I wish!) I went with a tall thin card for a change.  the paper is from Bearly Mine Designs and I used scraps of cs for the sentiment panel and punched flowers, punched along the bottom and threaded some ribbon from my stash and finished off with some liquid pearls.
