New mini release over at Crafty sentiments

Well today is day 3 of previews and also release day of 3 awesome new stamps which have been being previewed over at the Crafty Sentiments Inspirational Blog, I hope you have had time to check out all the wonderful work the DT has done.  Well today is the turn of Party Horn and I have made a card to welcome in the New Year but as you can see by the other DT cards this is again a very versatile image, I can see him getting lots of use.  I have coloured with my copicsand added some bling with sakura stardust on his hat and for the champagne, paper is from Bearly Mine Designs and I have added some green and red cs.  The balloon, streamers and lettering are sizzix extended cuts, the banner is cut on the cricut and I added some silver goblet brads.  Now dont forget all 3 new stamps are available to day at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  Oh and 1 more thing, have you become a follower of the Inspiration Blog yet?  Not only is there new inspiration on there every day but once we reach 130 followers 1 lucky follower who has left us a comment recently will be picked randomly to win a mystery prize.  How awesome, so if you aren't already pop on over and become a follower

Hi I am running somewhat late with my card for the new challenge over at the Emerald Faeries so I really must apologise.  Anyway this fortnight the challenge is 'Easel Cards' and I have used one of my favourite Faeries - Isla, she always makes me smile.  (actually I love all the Emerald Faeries! lol)You can purchase all the Emerald Faeries from A&T Digital Designs Shop.  I have coloured her with copics and added some Sakura stardust for some sparkle, the green paper is an old sheet from I don't where and the patterned paper is Dovecraft Funky Vintage.  The flower is 3 different flowers cut on the cricut and joined together and the ticket is a dienamics die and stamp set, finally finished off with some purple gems.

Santa's Delivery

Thought I'd pop on quickly with another Christmas card, I think I'll be making quite a few in the weeks to come!  Anyway this card uses an adorable Santa stamp called Santa's Delivery and it is available over at Crafty Sentiments Designs I have used my copics to colour and then I kinda went a bit mad with the texture by glazing the snow round the chimney, glittering Santa's fluffy bits of his outfit and adding polar white flower soft to his beard and moustache.  Papers are from Bearly Mine Designs (I love these papers!) and I finished off with some brown cs and white snowflake brads.

Now just before I share the pics with you I have some other news to tell you.  Now as you are probably aware Crafty Sentiments Designs has a wonderful inspiration blog which you can find here and its a fab place to visit as its filled with wonderful inspiration that the DT put together using all the wonderful products that are available at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  Now the exciting news I have to share with you is that If you pop over and become a follower and leave us a comment now and again once we reach 130 followers there will be a mystery package to one lucky follower.  How fantastic is that!

Hatter's Hope first challenge

Yes today is the start of the challenges over at Hatter's Hope and it's a nice easy one to get you started with, 'BLING'  See told you! lol  For my card I have used Christmas Byron coloured with copics with sakura stardust added for bling, my papers are also glittered I think they are MME from a couple of years ago and I finished off with a metal edged tag held in place with a shiny red brad and a stamped sentiment.  You can buy Byron at the Mad For Markers store here along with all the other new images.

Seeing Red!

No, its ok I'm not angry and about to go into a rant, I've just used a lot of red on my card today! lol  Enjoyed putting this together.  I have used Vinca - Christmas Goodies from Crafty Sentiments Designs (I love this image she is so sweet but a little bit sassy too!) Coloured with my copics and some glamour dust added to her fluffy bits.  She is mounted on to red mirricard, background paper is Bearly Mine Designs then I added some snowflake embossed cs a ticket sentiment, some ribbon and white poinsettias with red brads.

A&T Digital Designs - Sketch Challenge

Ok so its time for a new challenge over at A&T Digital Designs and this time we have a fabulous sketch for you, I love sketches!  For this sketch I used Candy Canes, which is available at A&T Digital Designs Shop.  I think this is a fan image and lends itself to both modern and vintage laouts so I went with a vintage theme this time.  I have coloured with copics and added some stardust.  My papers are Bo Bunny as are the candy stickers, I added some holly leaves cut from the same papers, some brads and a peeloff sentiment.

HATTER'S HOPE

Good morning to you all, today I have some exciting news to share with you all!  A new challenge blog will be starting up shortly called Hatter's Hope the Boss Lady is no other than the multi talented Sammi of Mad For Markers and along with the new blog there will be an awesome new range of digi stamps.  I am very lucky to find myself on the DT for this new venture alongside some other uber talented ladies so why not pop over to the new blog here and find out all about what's happening I know its going to be fun and we'd love you to come and join us on this new adventure.

Our First challenge will go LIVE on the 24th November... but firstly we would love for you to join us at 6pm (Sydney time) on the 23rd November just in time for TEA... Rememberence Day

I know this is a little late in the day to be posting this but after I checked out a card by Lin which is beautiful and read that the poem she had used was by her 14 year old daughter it reminded me of a poem Ria had written when she was 13 if I remember correctly it was part of her english.  I loved it so much I made a digital scrapbook page of it which I would like to share here today.

A little Christmas Song

Another Christmas card ticked off my list!  I kept this one pretty flat to make it easier (and cheaper) for posting! lol  Papers are a couple of years old MME I think.  The embossed gold card is pretty old too and the sentiment piece is recycled from an old card.  The cute signing duo are from Crafty Sentiments Designs I have coloured them with copics and added some glitter.

Preview day 2

Hello again and her I am with a preview of another of the wonderful new stamps that will be available to buy tomorrow over at Crafty Sentiments Designs and don't forget You can see all the samples each day over at the Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspirational blog. For today's card I have used 'I Love Apples' and I have coloured with copics.  Papers are Papermania Happy Days and some shiny red cs that I found in my scraps drawers.  I also used some brads and embossed the cs with a sentiment folder.  (I bought a set of them a while ago thinking they would be a good addition to my stash and I think this in only the 2nd or 3rd time I've used them!lol) I was initially worried that it was too much red but actually now its done I rather like it, hope you like it too.

Poppies at Crafty Sentiments

Good morning this week it is the turn of Team B to inspire you over at Crafty Sentiments and this week Lisa has chosen our theme and its one of her favourites its POPPIES.  So here is my card, I have used the gorgeous 'Vinca ~ Lets Dance' stamp which is available to buy at Crafty Sentiments Designs I have coloured her with copics in reds and greens to match the Poppy theme.  My papers are Bo Bunny and the swirl is cut with a sizzix extended die.  I'm sorry but my poppy isn't very poppish I really struggled and ended up with lots of red paper in the bin! lol BUT I am please with how Vinca turned out.  Please stop by Crafty Sentiments and check out the amazing work by the DT ladies, we have some new members showcasing today too and this week there is an amazing prize up for grabs its £10 voucher for Crafty Sentiments Designs, awesome prize I'm sure you'll agree.

Ribbon Challenge at A&T Digital Designs

It's time for a new challenge with the ladies at A&T Digital Designs and for this fortnight we'd love to see your ribbon.  I have used one of 2 NEW designs which are now available over at A&T Digital Designs Shop, this one is called Horses Shoe with Rose and I think it is beautiful and perfect for many different occasions.  I have coloured with copics and my papers are Bearly Mine Designs, ribbon, pearls, ribbon slider, tag and brad all from my stash and I used some of the paper to make some rolled roses which are on a Cheery Lynn corner die cut.  I really hope you can join in with our challenge.

Well when I was looking thru my digi images for inspiration I came across this gorgeous little 'Thistle Pixie' which is from Charmed Cards and Crafts and I haven't used any of these images in such a long time I thought it was only fair to print her out and colour her up, with copics of course!  I also felt she would look so cute sat on a sentiment so I cut out a Thanks on the cricut put it together with paper from Bearly Mine Designs and added a flower that I coloured with copics to match the pixie, pleased with how this turned out.

New As The Crow Flies release at Mad For Markers

Hi Today (well Monday 5 November which it already is over in Australia! lol) sees a new release of wonderful images from As The Crow Flies which are available to buy over at Mad For Markers Online Store and for my card I have used this super cool 'surfer' image. Coloured with my copics, E50, 00 11, Y06, 08 BG 05 & G05.  I have actually given him a digital surf board which is part of the digi kit that the paper, tag, wording and coloured curve came from, its by Sweet Blossom Designs and is called Surfs Up, I have had it stored on my hard drive for quite some time but I always knew it would come in handy! lol  That is the joy with digi stuff though it really doesn't require the same storage space!

Purple Christmas

When I started this card I knew the image I wanted to use and the background paper and that was it! It changed direction so many times its unbelievable! but I'm pleased with the final outcome.  The image is by Papermania (I think from 2 years ago!), paper is from Bearly Mine Designs, I used vellum and embossed it with stars before stitching it to the card (yep dusted the sewing machine off for this one!) I even used sparkly purple thread but it doesn't show, then embossed some purple cs with same folder and swiped it with white ink pad then added to 2 layers of ribbon, inked the edge of the image to soften it and added some vellum snowflakes (quikcutz die) and purple gems.
