Hello just popping on with a card I made earlier in the week when I had a little bit of time to myself.  Its a birthday card for a friend who celebrates today.  I chose a great image from Bugaboo that I won recently,  JJ 29 Again coloured with Copics and Chameleons then I added some diamond glaze to her glasses, her drinking glass, the spilt liquid and the balloons.  Paper is from SU Fresh Prints pad, cs and some Prima Got Flowers and little red gems to finish off.

Crafty Catz Challenge #501 - Anything Goes

The DT were given some fabulous images to play along with but this time I used an image I already had (I have a few! lol) it's called flower teapot and I've used Copics, Chameleons and SN Sparkles to colour.  Papers are from an s.e.i. kit called Spring.  I dry embossed the background paper then realised I'd put in the wrong way round! I actually liked the debossed effect so kept it.  The stamped sentiment is from PTI and I finished off with some flowers and leaves.

The sponsor very kindly gave the DT some fantastic images to play along with.  I chose Set 1 Flower 2 which is a set of 2 flowers and I chose to focus on just one of the flowers of the set. which I printed onto some soft red coloured vellum, I printed it in a grey colour as the black looked too heavy.  Then I coloured the flower using SN coloured pencils as I wanted the softer look pencils gave compared to pens.  Then I tore down the sides of the vellum and fixed it to the background paper with some brads then I finished off with a simple die cut sentiment.

A Little Good Luck

Just popping on quickly with a card I made for my daughter Ria who started a new job today, one that I think she is really going to enjoy, she is working at a Doggy Day Care! She has been trying for animal related jobs since leaving Uni but they are very hard to come by.   I knew exactly what picture I wanted to use and its the super fun 'Puppy Pile' from Bugaboo which has been coloured with Chameleons and a little Sparkle from SN on the flowers, collar and bone (doesn't show up in the pic).  Papers are First Edition 'Wild at Heart' teamed with some dark brown cs, added a die cut fence, die cut sentiment and a little wooden heart button finished it off.

A little more ME time!

I'm really enjoying getting some extra doses of ME time in at the moment, especially as the last 6 months or so allowed so little of it, thats not to say I'm not still really busy, I am but decided it was important to get that time!  So I had the chance to make a Valentine card for my OH.  Now he's not really into cuties, hearts and flowers and so often we don't bother with Valentines but this year I have! I have used the sketch over CAS(E) this Sketch and embossed the black panel, the patterned paper is Stampin' Up Stacked with love pad and teamed with some red cs. The umbrella and sentiment are from PTI Scattered Showers set.

Wishing Ewe ...

Well I managed to sneak an extra bit of me time in this week and had a play in the my craft room.  I had wanted to play with some sparkle medium that was given to me quite a while ago, so long ago in fact that all but one has dried out and the one remaining one didn't fit with my card so I ended up doing some stencilling with ink and then embossing powder over that to create the star background, not quite what I had in mind originally but this worked too! lol.  Used a fab image from Bugaboo and work with their 'Stella Says Sketch' sketch for this fortnight.  the image is coloured with Copics and Chameleons with some touches of SN sparkle pens.  Papers are Cosmopolitan from Making Memories and the sentiment and inside of the card is written with the Cricut (still learning and trying to get placement right!)  Finished off with a few pearls.
