Good morning, it's my turn to host the challenge over at Crafty Cat this week and our theme is 'Anything Goes' with the added option for Embossing wet or dry.  I love embossing, I tend to do dry more than wet as I always forget till it's too late! We have a great sponsor this week too it's

The DT were very kindly given some images from our generous sponsor to play along with.  I have used 'Conductor' and have coloured him using copics and chameleons.  The black background has been embossed with musical notes and the the ticket die cuts also have embossing on them.  Finished off with the Happy Birthday die cut (new and lovin' it).

Crafty Catz Challenge #420 ~ Anything Goes

Wow! it's Friday again already, how does it come around so quick? Well that means time for a new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this weeks host is our fabulous Christine, the theme is as always 'Anything Goes' and Christine gave us the added twist of 'must use ribbon or twine' who doesn't love a bit of ribbon or twine?  Remember you don't have to use the twist but we do love it when you do.  we have a great sponsor too this week ..

For my project this week I used a large tag (8x4) and covered it in some Kimberly Hodges paper from K&Co. The image is 'For Mom' from Simply B Stamps and I have coloured with a mix of copics, chameleons and SN pencils then inked around the edge.  I've embellished with a pearl for her earring, some prima flowers, cricut cut leaves and some ribbon.  I may add a sentiment at a later date when I have decided who the recipient is.

Crafty Catz Challenge #419 ~ Anything Goes

At the moment my crafting time is very limited but I did manage a quick play with the Cricut Explore Air 2 and I treated myself to a yearly subscription of Cricut Access so there are LOTS of cuts to play with (almost too many to choose from!) Anyway I found this nice squirley Christmas tree and cut it out of black cs but before adding it directly to the card front I used the Cricut to write the sentiment.  So there you have it a very quick and simple card, hope you like it.
